This was my second visit. My first time was great and I was thrilled to hopefully found a nail salon since moving to CT!! My gel manicure last 3 weeks and loved it. Unfortunately this visit one of nails broke and I was told there was nothing they could do because they don't do artificial nails. So I had my nails cut to the same length. They looked okay in the salon but when I left and inspected further they are unevenly shaped and the gel polish has bumps in it. I also had a pedicure and my toe nails were also poorly shaped. I went there couple of months ago ... the lady who attended me , I guess was the owner was so rude I said I need no color on my toes she did not reply when I repeated she rudely replied to me I HEARD YOU OK and rushed to do my pedicure and manicure, to my suprise I was done in 35mins Sharp both Mani with gel polish and pedi no color it felt like she did a favor on me. ... switched to another better nail salon... BTW late review just downloaded yelp on my new phone. But so wanted to write this review... couldn't say to that lady that day she was rude and I as a customer least I can expect

This was my second time at Yoji and I thought I would give it another try after not having the best experience the first time. I am very disappointed on how my nails turn out. I asked for a powder dip ombré French manicure and they came out like the picture below. They are clumpy and bumpy. They're just plain ugly. I didn't ask for a refund, I think small businesses have suffered long enough and I didn't want to add more to it. My advice to the owner, if your nail technicians don't know how to use powder, please don't have them practice it.

I have only written a few reviews on Yelp, and I typically have good news to share, but unfortunately this time, it's not so good. I moved to Glastonbury in July, and being a strong believer in supporting my local businesses, I decided to give Yoji Nails a try - not once, but twice. The salon is well-executed, and one of the nicest churn-and-burn nail salons I've been to, but the staff, including the owner himself are far from pleasant. The guy who did my nails was very fast and the color I got was very pretty BUT he made three of my fingers bleed and kept putting alcohol on them making it worse. The bleeding didn't stop and he continued to put more alcohol on it. ... I know mistakes happen but never have I had three fingers bleed from getting my nails done. Won't go back unfortunately.

Nails look good, fingers look like they went thru a wood chipper. Most of my fingers look red, puffy and angry after the gel manicure, and 2 of them actually bled. No apology was given, he just dabbed what I hope was disinfect on them when he was done. Previous to the bleeding, I said "ouch" a few times when he was pushing my cuticles back, and he didnt take the hint that he was being rough. They seemed surprised at the end that I didn't tip when I was made to bleed and one finger especially is throbbing and painful.

I went to YOJI for the first time today since the Coronavirus pandemic and I am beyond pleased with my gel manicure! Every employee is professional and ensures that the CDC guidelines are followed. I loved that my nail technician was meticulous about making my nails look perfect. He asked me numerous times if I liked my color making sure that the edges around my nails were nail polish free! Even though this nail salon is not the closest to me, I'm not going anywhere else!

Hands down my BEST nail salon experience EVER! The staff were friendly, took their time, and made sure I was happy all throughout my visit. I can’t wait to go back again and for the first time ever found a place that makes me want to make it a monthly treat to myself! I had a classic spa pedicure and basic manicure, felt so very pampered the whole time and for a GREAT price! The salon smelled wonderful, the music was relaxing, and the products they use are ones I feel great about. Can’t recommend them enough and can’t wait to go back!!!

Yoji never disappoints me. I go once a month and my nails always come out amazing. Their place is clean and beautiful. The staff is friendly and professional. I get the gel powder manicure done. This weekend I have a photoshoot with my husband and got my nails done today for it and they're beautiful as always! Thanks Yoji!

I've been going to Yoji since they opened as the are one of the only salons in the area that offer a Dip/Powder manicure which is my favorite. Joe is a gentlemen and has gone out of his way to remember my name and preferences and I always feel like a preferred client when I walk in and schedule appointments. I usually ask for Johnny to do my nails - he's my fav and I'm wildly particular.
The salon is clean and serene and they typically run right on time. I will advise that it's best to call a few days in advance as appointments book quickly and ahead of time. The prices are

Today was the first time going there and I will definitely be back. I had an appointment for 1130, and showed up early at 11 because I was done running around. There were only 3 people working and everyone was occupied so I did have to wait - but that is to no ones fault. I hope the powder lasts, because it's beautiful. Only downfall would be they only accept tips via cash. It's a little inconvenient because someone like myself doesn't usually have cash, but thankfully today I did. Overall, it was a great experience.

I have been to many nail salons and feel, Yoji, by far has provided the best manicures and pedicures I have had. The first time I went Joe, the owner, did everything he could to fix the shoddy job the last salon did on my nails. Joe and his staff have been professional, courteous, and most of all provide really good manicures and pedicures. I love the complimentary 3 minute back massages. I will not go elsewhere.

Terrible Experience. I went in to get my nails done for a gel manicure. I have gone to YOJI Nails a couple times prior because the gel they used was a healthier gel for my nails and could go 3 weeks without having to have them done. This time was completely different. The manicure was not done properly as was unacceptable. There was paint all around my cuticles and it began to chip and bubble. I went back the next day to see if something could be done and there was an attitude about the service and the underlying tone that I purposely did it to my nails. I had a really great experience at YOJI Nails & Spa this morning. I've been in Connecticut for about 6 years and I have yet to find a really great nail salon until I found YOJI. Being a new establishment, the salon is super clean and is decorated really beautifully!
What I love most about the salon is the gel polish that they use. The brand is bio seaweed gel and I love that it is free of all the crap in most gel polishes. There's also a good collection of gel colors to choose from. If you're doing regular polish, there's about 6 times the amount of gel colors available

The owner was great here. 13 of us came for an after hours event for a wedding and were all pampered wonderfully. My manicure lasted longer than some of the other places I'd been to recently and the pedicure was to die for.
Will definitely go back and check them out for some pampering of my own soon!

I was referred to this spot by a friend who is a native to Glastonbury and after my fourth visit there I can say that it has been the best nail & spa experience I've had so far!!
I had never heard of gel powder, so I tried it out after the same friend spoke highly of it. My goal was to lengthen and strengthen my nails due to nail biting and overall weakness.
My gel powder manicure was awesome! I pushed the limits but it lasted almost 5 weeks without a single chip. When I had it removed today I saw beautiful long healthy nails and couldn't be happier.
