Services
Swig opened its doors over ten years ago, with a simple mission: To bring handcrafted food, craft beer, fine wine, and sought after liquors to the Toledo area. Though our menu and draft and drink list has evolved constantly, we've never stopped bringing the area's best variety of homemade food, cold craft beer and tasty drinks to our customers.
As we say here at Swig, "Nothing good ever stays the same." That is why our beer, wine, and cocktail menu is an ever rotating, always evolving assortment of the most delicious and refreshing bevvies on the market. We don't list a stale beer menu online anywhere, because by the time it's posted, it's already changed.
Call us at 419.873.6224 for a full list of all our menu choices, and to learn more about all of our full-service catering options! Our smoked Whole Hogs provide your gathering with heaps of smoked-succulent pork, and an experience your guests will talk about for years to come! Our Pork comes from local farms and is delivered fresh to create both an economical and memorable feast for your large group.
From beer and brats to wraps, apps and our Swig Mixes, we've got the curiosities to satisfy everyone's taste buds. This gallery features a small sampling of our food and drink items. We're always building new and delicious menu items, so be sure to view our full menu for up-to-date food and drink listings.

This is probably my sixth time at Swig since I've moved to Toledo a few months ago and this place always hits the spot. They have great cocktails, extensive beer selection that rotates fairly frequently, and delicious food. We came around 3:30 and found seats at the bar for a late lunch.
I ate the stuffed pepper soup (they were out of their Swig Soup) and the Picardy Chicken wrap while my boyfriend ate the Cactus chili and the Sheboygan Melt. I really enjoyed my soup and chicken wrap. The chicken wrap had onion straws in it which gave it a crunch that I didn't expect but loved. The

Tried to make this a lunchtime go-to for years. Literally years. 15-20 times. But the food quality was only as bad as the poor service. Routine for unannounced substitutions, usually for a lesser quality ingredient. For example, I was once given a Carver sandwich (turkey breast based) with a few sparse pieces of DUCK. A waitress, who is there frequently, once asked my party to leave within 60 seconds of getting the bill while we were saying goodbye and I was fishing out the tip. We were not lingering. We all had to get back to work. We were leaving quickly. Yet, she needed to push us out. Eventually

My husband and I were passing through town for the night -- we went to try out Swing because the ratings looked pretty good but right away we were disappointed when we stood in line for approximately 5-7 minutes without a greeting or estimated seat time. When we were finally seated we asked our waitress for recommendations on local brews, to which she had no recommendation or knowledge. We decided to try out two of the beers on tap, both of which were too warm and tasted funny. We are pretty convinced there is something wrong with their tap. My husband enjoyed the flatbread, but we were both unimpressed

It was a nice place to dine in. Apart from beer and cocktails we tried onion rings, Pierogis Fundido (potato & onion pierogis, chorizo fundido tomato, scallions, crema), Frankenstein Wings, Flash Fried Cheese Curds, Fresh Bratwurst, Lavish Nashville chicken burger and Cuban Lebowski burger. They were all good.

Five of us descended on Swig as a late lunch destination. No wait at 2:00 but that didn't last long. Soon there was a short line out the door. At the table we had cocktails, the Cheesesteak Hoagie, the Pulled Pork, some chicken Chunks and more. Table service was pretty good and the food was top notch. Out the door for under a hundred bucks we were all quite happy.

Beer cheese and Scotch eggs were both excellent. I had one of the weekly specials - open faced beef and gravy and white cheddar mashed potatoes. It was also excellent. Nice place and good atmosphere. I didn't drink any Bourbon but I saw they had a decent selection and some that are allocated and hard to find. The menu had lots of options that I thought looked great. I will be back!

Busy place. In a nice area. Nice staff. Food was great. Prices are very reasonable. I got the polish sausage. Came on bun with sweet and sour cabbage and ale mustard. I added onions. It's way bigger than the pictures lead you to believe.
It was awesome. I think all the sausages are made in house. I may be wrong. But...Definitely try this place out.

We stopped in Perrysburg, a Toledo suburb, on our way home from a wedding in upstate New York. Driving in heavy tollway traffic was tiring, and we just wanted a drink and a light dinner.
The hotel, just off the tollway, gave us a list of restaurants nearby, and many were on the same street in downtown Perrysburg. The first couple were not open (pandemic?) but Swig was hopping. We avoided a wait for a table by sitting at the bar. We are older, but the crowd was quite varied... younger folks in shorts and T-shirts, middle aged couples a bit dressier. Geezers like us blended in.

I have been here about 8-9 times, but I decided to finally write a review to say that the food here just isn't very good.
The beer menu is great (about 24 decent selections of craft beer on tap), and they have interesting seasonal salads and sandwiches that are worth trying for the creativity. Also, the staff have been mostly friendly.
The best feature of this place is the atmosphere and live music that plays on certain a days or evenings.
However, all that said, I have yet to have an order of actual food that wowed me. It has all been fairly disappointing. My most recent order was the

I definitely enjoyed my visit to this restaurant on the charming and quaint little downtown strip in Perrysburg. The small storefront sets unobtrusively on the main drag and one can miss it if one doesn't know where to look for it.
The internal seating area is cozy and includes a bar. The patio houses room for several more patrons and provides a great atmosphere for dining. Unfortunately, it was full on our Sunday afternoon visit at 3:30 PM, suggesting they were having a very good day. But we were able to sit inside, which was quite fine. I was comfortable enough with their social distancing

Excellent food and tremendous effort providing curb-side / carry-out to the masses!
PSA: Please relax, folks. Businesses are putting forth their best effort to continue being in business and providing services. Please understand the action required to shift to 100% carry-out during a pandemic and understand point-of-sale estimates for your order may not be accurate. Patience is a virtue and please tip handsomely to reward the staff's efforts in providing services during such trying times.
