We were visiting Asheville and had intended to look for a new mattress for our motor home. Time got away from us and we did not have time to look until the day before we planned to leave for home. We visited Colton Mattress Factory in Asheville and found the staff to be very helpful. They were able to make a custom mattress with features we picked from two different mattresses and had it ready by noon the following day. We pulled up on the street at the side of their building. Two guys came out with our new mattress wrapped in heavy plastic. They installed it and took our old mattress with them

I just purchased 3 mattresses for me and my kids. I have now slept on my new bed for a few weeks and must say I have not felt so well rested in a long, long time. Mike and his staff were just wonderful to deal with !....after searching for a king mattress for a few weeks , we decided to check out Colton Mattress Factory. We stopped in to take a look at their flippable orthopedic mattresses and were impressed with the selection they offered. They seem like they produce a quality product and have a wide selection to pick from. Their boxsprings also are made of durable material and heavy duty in nature. We purchased a Pantheon firm with plus top mattress and so look forward to having a wonderful night sleep on this model which has a 15 year warranty. This review is more about service than product. Keeping it short, my stepdad was, as it turned out, only days from dying and was put in an adjustable bed by hospice due to his condition. This caused him to have to sleep alone without his wife of 20 years, to remedy this I helped him purchase a $2900 adjustable split queen size bed. After owning it for less than 10 days he passed. My mother wanted the bed returned because of the payment and she just didn't like it. I contacted Colton and explained what had happened they said that they remembered me and why I was buying it but the satisfaction

The sales room service at Colton Mattress is excellent. We purchased a mattress several months ago and were told that it could be adjusted within a certain timeframe. We ask to have it adjusted, but we were told to wait until the mattress was more broken in. What is broken in is my back. I hurt every morning after sleeping on our new Colton Mattress. Our old mattress never made my back hurt, but this one does. Already looking for another mattress after spending $2000 on the current one back in the Spring.

Colton was recommended to us and we decided to check it out. We especially liked the fact that the mattress could be flipped, and that it was a local business. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and helped us determine which mattress would work for us. The mattress was constructed and delivered on schedule. Sleeping so well! Would definitely recommend!

I also wanted to recommend Colton Mattress. We checked a couple of the other places mentioned here, it was all resale of national brands, and were quite expensive. Colton had just what we wanted, made on-site, and custom sized the mattress to our specifications to fit our platform exactly. Mike listened to what we were looking for, and recommended a specific weight of foam to match what we were looking for. The latex mattress I originally purchased just didn't work for me. He replaced it in a very timely manner with one that did. It too needed just one more tweak. They picked it up and fixed it all in the same day!

We were going to buy a mattress from Mattress Firm but read about Colton Mattress online. We stopped in and were sold on them the moment we tried out their mattresses. The owner told us they were handmade right their on location. Their mattresses are INCREDIBLY comfortable. I can't say enough good things about this mattress, the buying experience or Mike who helped me find the perfect mattress solution. I went in after 2 years of trying to buy a mattress and testing everything on the market. What I wanted (and needed for severe back pain) is a very firm mattress that doesn't feel firm. Every other place I have been automatically told me I couldn't achieve that within seconds of arriving at their stores. An absolute waste of our money! No matter how many new sets of sheets we purchase, we cannot find one that fits properly. The mattress is so heavy, can barely lift it to change the sheets. We knew when it was delivered that there was something wrong, and the owner refused our request to return it, even though we had not even had it for an hour. Purchasing from Colton was a huge mistake.

We bought a foundation for our latex foam mattress, and what a difference! Our new bed frame didn't support the mattress properly, but the foundation was a perfect solution. The bed is now more comfortable than it's ever been. I shopped around, and this was by far the best-made foundation I saw. A bit more expensive but worth every cent.

They were very nice and knowledgeable to deal with in the store. My only suggestion is that they are more proactive on delivery. They were an hour later then the committed timeframe. My suggestion is to remind people the day before delivery that the drivers will call u 30 minutes prior to arrival. This could be accomplished by either a computerized message or text. This would enable a positive customer experience from sale to delivery.
