This is THE place to go in Asheville if you are looking for a mattress. Wes is super helpful, knowledgeable, and a really nice guy. The environment is very laid back with no pressure. We had bought a mattress a couple of years ago and ended up having a problem with it. Wes basically bent over backwards for us, to resolve the issue. We couldn't be happier with our experience, and would definitely recommend Mattress Man in Asheville to anyone looking for a good night's sleep!

Very good experience and GREAT customer service! 5 stars to James and Rob both at the 85 Tunnel road store in Asheville. They were very very helpful and worked their best to get us the best deal possible that for our budget. They were very patient with us and were able to explain the different mattresses and adjustable frames in detail.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Every single employee here is kind, patient, extremely informative and knowledgeable and allows you to choose what is right for you without hovering and pushing a sale like your average salesperson. Wes, the manager, has bent over backwards to help us with our needs and stuck true to his word on the warrenty (that never happens!). I am super grateful for these guys kindness and help!

I strongly recommend this store! We had not purchased a bed for 20 years (don't judge :) ) and felt like idiots walking into Mattress Man (we went to the Tunnel Road location). The sales folks could not have been more helpful, answering all our questions patiently and informatively, without a hint of upselling (we were not looking for a high-end mattress). Their high-attention but low-pressure approach was perfect for us. I am someone who generally despises shopping, but they made the process so straightforward and positive that we wound up buying beds for each of our daughters as well!

I could write a lot of positive things about this experience, but the review would be too long. I walked in the store ready to buy a mattress. I hadn’t purchased a mattress in a long time, so I wanted information. Wes patiently answered my questions. All of them... Once I narrowed down the bed I wanted, he worked with me on price. Are they trying to make money? Yes! They are running a business. However, within the bounds of a company making money, I felt taken care of and treated fairly.

Fantastic experience and can’t recommend enough to get a superior mattress and matching customer service. Delivery was on time and movers were respectful and speedy. My partner and I sleep deeper than we have in months on our new king bed. We will absolutely be going back when it’s time to upgrade our guest room bed. Thanks so much to Mattress Man!

My mattress-buying experience was a pleasure. Brian was so nice and patient; he helped me find just the right mattress and guided me through which ones were softer, firmer, etc. In the end, I found the perfect mattress there (created by a local company!). My mattress was here and set up within a couple days (the delivery guys were super nice and professional, too). I so love that I was able to get my mattress from a family-owned business, and I've slept soundly on it every night since!
