First Lido Condominium is a beautiful community located at the southern end, directly on the pristine beach of Lido Key in Sarasota, FL. The condominium complex, located at 1900 Ben Franklin Drive, was the first condo complex built on Lido Beach in 1967. First Lido has expansive views of the Gulf of Mexico, breath taking sunsets and white sugar sand.
First Lido offers a relaxed friendly atmosphere, a lap pool which is heated year-round, onsite maintenance staff and wireless internet access throughout the club house area. First Lido is home to an interesting and active community which organizes many social events for its residents such as monthly sunset cocktail parties (in season), New Year's Eve festivities, St Patrick's Day get together as well as other special occasion events.

I rented here for 1 month in 2018. The people were extremely friendly. I especially enjoyed the nightly happy hour at sunset and the various celebrations for a Super Bowl, Valentines Day and the farewell dinner for departing renters. The unit I rented I did not like but could not find a place to write a separate review.
