To share a little bit about me I would like to share with you that I completed my undergraduate studies at San Diego State University and was accepted to and attended the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.
I received my doctorate in chiropractic in 1981 graduating cum laude and received a distinguished service award from the college. As licensed chiropractor in California for over 35 years, I have seen and treated the causes of everything from failed post-surgical low back pain to colicky babies. The age spectrum of patients I have had the opportunity to treat runs from 3 days old to 92 years young.

Over the past 38 years Dr. Chris Hawn with Life Point Chiropractic has been involved in chiropractic treating patients and giving hope where there was none. He reflects how the majority of people who come to him are there as a last option of care. They have been on drugs, given improper advice or abused through financial plans offered with no guarantee of results.
You might hear this around South County at various events because Dr. Chris Hawn and his wife Terry are always involved in some sort of South County activity and love being partof the community. They are firm believers that service is an important part of having a fulfilled life. They met as members of the Monarch Beach Sunrise Rotary Club and continue to be involved with the club's various service projects and events to this day.
Many individuals get apprehensive when going to a new doctor for the first time. The reason for that nervousness is that you really just don't know what to expect. If it's your first time to a chiropractor, chances are you just figure the doctor is going to ask you where it hurts and begin treatment.
Our office fees are the most competitive in the area. We accept most insurances but find that most of our patients either have an extremely high deductible, limited coverage, limited doctor choice or they just don't want to turn it into insurance. We can verify your insurance and tell you exactly what your obligation will be for any care beyond the your initial visit.
Take your time in a comfortable setting while completing your intake health questionnaire forms prior to arriving at the office. If you choose to not fill these out ahead of time, then please arrive 15 to 20 minutes ahead of your appointment time (excluding a 9 am appointment) to be able to complete them as your appointment time is the scheduled time that the doctor will see you.

Dr Hawn listened to me and discussed what he could do to help me with my health problem. Once he diagnosed me and showed me what was going on he went forward and treated me.
He is one of the best healthcare professionals I have ever had treat me.
My experience and results have been great and I would highly recommend Dr Hawn.

I have had lower back and degenerative disc issues for years, and have had a hard time finding a Chiropractor who adjusted me properly around my injuries. After herniating a disc yet again surfing recently Dr Hawn at Life Point got me back on my feet within a couple of visits, and will be who I trust for Chiropractic work moving forward.

Our family has been going to Chris Hawn's Chiropractic practice for almost 30 years. He is an outstanding chiropractor (Palmer trained), and has always relieved us of our aches and pains. He has adjusted our three daughters throughout their lives, from the time they were little. I went to Chris for ear infections before I gave my kids antibiotics!

I met Dr. Chris Hawn at our local VFW Post 9934 meeting where he was the guest speaker. After hearing him talk about his experience and knowledge of the spine and human body, I was moved to make an appointment with him. Just to explain the facts. I had severe low back pain that was affecting my life on a daily basis. I had previously seen other chiropractors, a neuro-surgeon, and even a pain management specialists which offered only a week or two of pain relief.
I really did not expect much as I felt I had tried everything but surgery which by the way was recommended by two doctors. The problem

I have known Dr. Hawn for the past few years which began with my initial consultation due to a car accident. I was experiencing neck and lower pack pain at the time. I just completed about 6 sessions of physical therapy with a previous medical clinic which was basically worthless. They were very 'hands-off" and primarily used EMS.
Dr. Hawn approached my symptoms with a comprehensive perspective. After listening to me, he examined my neck and back, reviewed x-rays, he then described a plan and potential goals.

I'm retired military and the VA referred me to Dr Hawn. Dr Hawn is top notch. He's tenacious in getting you better. He looks at the whole body picture and will give direction and recommendations to get you healthy and feeling better along with the adjustments. On the flip side, if he can't help you, he'll tell you that too. I highly recommend Dr Hawn!

We can't say enough about Dr. Hawn! When my friend called to make an appointment Dr. Hawn himself answered the phone and he was extremely nice and friendly. She broke her ankle over 10 years ago and has been in pain ever since. She decided to reach out to Dr. Hawn to see if he could help. He asked several questions over the phone and never seemed in a rush to get off. My friend doesn't have insurance so was a bit concerned about the price. He never seemed to care about the insurance and his number one concern from the very beginning was helping and getting her out of pain. My friend and I both

I went to see Dr. Chris to help with a chronic bad back. I ended up with not only a better back but he focused on, and fixed a nerve problem in my foot that was restricting my mobility. I am now able to spend afternoons walking the beach with my wife. Something I was not able to do for over a year even though I had major foot surgery 6 months ago. Chris was very knowledgeable as well as like able. I have found a new health partner.
