My car broke a gas tank strap 200 miles into my road trip. I discovered it when I stopped in Beaver Dam Wisconsin on Sunday. Luckily, I was next-door to Lidtke Motors and I was at their service department when it opened at 7 AM on Monday. The service manager, whose name I failed to get, wasn't sure they could help me but said they would check it out. 40 minutes later they had put temporary straps on it and I was told it would probably get me to my destination but I didn't want to take a chance so I turned around and drove back home. I immediately took it to my regular mechanic of 10

I just moved to the area, and I haven't found a mechanic yet. It's one of those things that you don't think about until you need one, and then when you need one you are desperate. On a Friday night, my car started making a whining noise when I turned the wheel, so I looked up mechanics in the yellow pages and found Lidtke Motors. They were open at 7:00 a.m. on a Saturday, so they seemed like my best bet.
When I called in the morning, the guys in the shop told me to just stop by in the morning and they'd take a look. So, I did, and they did, and they figured out right away that
