Better than our last camp site we were at near cape cod. Literally on top of other campers. This place kinda spaced for the more part, still kinda close for my liking. And the picture they showed of the camp site definitely didn't look like it. That one was much more remote. But the one great thing I can say bout this place is the check in lady Sue was a pleasure to deal with and every helpful. Will post pictures tomorrow when I take some.

If you are tent camping or have a camper van or just don't need hookups, definitely pick a tent site in the back past the beaver pond (I stayed at T6 which was nice and quiet and spaced far enough from other sites, so I had a peaceful time). There are a lot of seasonal family campers here with kids and dogs close together with their stuff all setup to the max so if you are anywhere near them there will be lights and noise at night and you'll feel like you're in a residential trailer park.
The bathrooms and showers were clean and nice. Dump station available, water spigots too, and many port-a

We stayed at Calef Lake Campground for a couple of nights. We were on site 10-A (pic attached). The site was at an angle, a bit awkward but the benefit of the angle was privacy. We did not use the bathrooms, so cannot comment. The campground was clean. The staff was wonderful. Sue made our stay memorable and was beyond kind. Terry helped us get setup and leveled (I am handicapped and my husband is older, we are not able to go under the RV to place our blocks) and Butch helped us when we departed. Could not speak better of these folks. This is a family friendly campground and quiet. We will definitely

It's okay. Being in the middle of nowhere, I got the service I needed and the place was clean. There is no one around after 7 so better get there early. Quiet but some of the campsites are too close to each other. Good thing Theresa no swimming pool. Basic running water and toilets but didn't see the showers or maybe they were locked in the morning until the person arrives at 9.

During our July, 2021 camping trip, observed raw sewerage breaking out of the leaching mound by the basketball court. Created a 14' x 6' flow directly across the walking path by the lake to the campsites. Lasted 4 days. Notified management, who replied "we have had alot of rain'. No - rain runs off, sewerage breaks out. This system is in hydraulic failure. No concern was evident. Stay healthy and avoid this place!

The camping experience was ok. Bathrooms were clean and everything was organized. My biggest complaint is that the shop sold us wood for a fire that was wet and could not be dried out. As a camp ground, you’d think you would know to not keep wood sitting in a pile on the ground but that’s where it was kept with a tarp covering it. This resulted in all the wood being soaked and there was no kindling/ dry kindling to help start the fire. Additionally, this was definitely a campground for seasonal pass holders and many people had lights and string lights outside of their areas. This made it feel

This is a nice family campground in the woods. Very clean and well maintained. We visited right after a big rainstorm that caused some damage and it rained while we were there. We did not get to use the beach or swim because of the weather. It is a mostly seasonal campground. Because of the weather the mosquitoes were ferocious. If you are looking for a quiet place in the woods to spend a few days, I would recommend Calef Lake. Just don’t forget your bug spray and screen house.

My husband, brother, sister-in-law and myself stayed there this weekend for our honeymoon! It was the best experience I have had with a campsite. Everyone in the store and around the campgrounds was nice. The gentleman who comes around to pick up the trash is really friendly and helpful. We rented the luxury tent which had electric, water, a queen bed, a twin trundle bed, 2 aderandack chairs and a little sitting area. It was amazing! Our last night it rained pretty hard but the entire inside of the tent was dry! We went paddle boarding and double kayaking! Definitely a great place for family or
