My wife and I were so glad to finally arrive at Daniel Inouye Airport because we were exhausted from our one day journey back home. What should have been a ten hour nonstop flight turned into an overnight layover because one of our plane's fuel pumps malfunctioned while taxiing on the runway.
Until now, we've always used Uber from the airport because it's reasonable, quick and easy and only a 30 minute drive from home. When I opened the Uber app I couldn't believe they were charging $238.00 for an UberXL!! Even after waiting 40 minutes Uber's surge pricing was still

The reservation team was great and easy to work with even when we needed to adjust our trip times. Christian our driver was awesome. Super friendly and had tons of suggestions for things to do and see as we talked on our drive to our accommodations from the airport. Super friendly and great customer service across the board. For our trip to Oahu we first looked into rental cars but the prices were higher then we planned, so we opted for a shuttle service and I'm so glad we did ! THANK YOU to the Island Express team for adding to our memories. Not only are they reasonably priced, they are reliable and know a lot of local recommendations that did not disappoint! This is now our go-to shuttle service when we come back!

Club Wyndham Waikīkī Beach Walk requested our booking. This was our first time using this service. Our Driver Chris was awesome! He was professional, personable & full of aloha! My Hawaii trip ended with a shuttle ride to the airport with the grumpiest old man I met in Hawaii. He was super rude when I arrived to meet him at the shuttle. I arrived 6 mins before the schedule departure time as instructed by my hotel (5-10mins) and he was upset with me for not being there 15mins before the departure time. He complained and then tossed my luggage into the back with zero care. I can't believe my trip has to end with seeing such a rude man... so disappointed. I rather pay more and take an Uber next time with a friendlier driver.

Be careful with these guys. They will throw in extra charges if you use a credit card. They will disguise it as tax but they don't charge it if you pay cash.
They are also very slow at getting you to the airport. If your group is 2 or more you are better off taking an Uber. It is cheaper and it's a direct ride to the airport.
Bad way to do service. Glad I will never use them again.

This is the worst company ,a woman representing the company was rude disrespectful and unappologetic ,when in the wrong , PAID FOR ROUND TRIP , AND THEY WOULD NOT PICK US UP , my hotel did , they paid for cab and were so kind , will never use this shuttle ever , would recommend that you wouldnt either , ,she said that i made no difference to her at all , wow thats customer service , THE WORST EVER !

We took this shuttle to the arena swap meet. Upon return time for 130 we were there where we were dropped off. The driver drove passed us and kept going. We called the management of IES and they preceded to tell us it was our fault,she was not going to call him back, we could still see the van in the distance. The company would send a shuttle in 2 hours.
When the shuttle arrived 2hrs later the owner proceeded to yell at us not to complain and do the Hawaiian thing and relax, as she put her hand in our face. The shuttle she brought was full of people and had no room for my fathers collapsible scooter

They provide the worst service! I scheduled a pick up online to take myself and my husband to the airport for the following day. It is 10 minutes past the scheduled pick up time, my husband calls and they say that we never scheduled a pick up even though we have a confirmation email, and our account was charged! Thankfully, there were several taxis in front of our hotel and we were able to get a ride to the airport right away. I will not recommend them to anyone!

We were recommended to them by our hotel (Marriott in Waikiki) to use this shuttle service to the airport. We booked the 1245 shuttle to get to the airport for our flight at 255 and was told to meet at least 10 minutes early. The shuttle was not there and we called the number 4 times only to be answered by a rude distracted lady that would only say that they were arriving "soon".
The shuttle arrived 20 minutes late and when we questioned the male driver, he yelled "it's not my fault!" ....Er, is it our fault? He then told us

Glad my hotel advised me of shuttle to airport. Service was GREAT and Yes we do have traffic in Hawaii so try to leave earlier than you would plan for your trip back to the airport. Our driver was friendly and also shared with other happy guests on their vacation heading home to California.

The bad news: the shuttle did not show up at the requested time (or ever). When I called the dispatcher, was told there was no record of our reservation & the soonest I could get a shuttle would be another 30-45 minutes (possibly miss our flight home). Took a cab instead.
The good news: they were extremely good & quick about refunding my $$ for the screwup. Also, assuming you do get a shuttle, the price is outstanding.

On 2/25, 3pm, company shuttle license plate RDT 149 driving erratically, accidentally crossing into other lanes.
I called the company to inform them, and the woman that answered said, "I'll talk to him."
I asked her to repeat the license plate I gave her and she could not. She didn't even bother to write it down.

It seemed like a simple airport pick-up. Made the reservation and pre-paid online three days before. Called to make sure they got the reservation, airline, flight number and the guy on the other end assured me there will be no problem. Either there would be a shuttle waiting for me or it would only be a few minutes wait. Cool.
After my on-time flight arrival, I went out to the designated curb and there was no sign of an Island Express Shuttle Plenty of others were there. I called and the lady I spoke with had no idea who I was or that their company was picking anyone

Normally I don't like to use off-brand shuttle services as you don't know what to expect, but this service was just as good (or better) than Super Shuttle and at a great price ($10 to/from the airport)... ridiculously cheap.
My hotel recommended Island Express, and I now recommend it to you. I used them to/from Pearl Harbor and also for my return trip back to the airport.
Service was great, and they pick you up from whatever hotel you are staying at in a nice air-conditioned van. Drivers are friendly, and can give you tips and local knowledge about the area.
