Nando Milano Trattoria

We love discovering a new restaurant, this is the good part of #ccrestauranteweek The starters were wonderful and the dessert did not disappoint, the food took a while to arrive, but the quality and atmosphere were worth the wait.

Nando Milano is the Trattoria that every city needs, but doesn’t have. I have eaten at Italian restaurants in different corners of the world (including every region of Italy) and very few have been able to rub shoulders with Nando Milano. Quality food, authentic recipes, fresh and exotic ingredients, vintage cocktails all in a place that makes you feel like home thanks to the warmest staff and owners. They have their fundamentals straight and then much more.

Best restaurant experience in Champaign-Urbana, hands down. Our server, Jackson, was absolutely exceptional. The food was excellent, the drinks were excellent, the desserts were excellent... I have so many good things to say and unfortunately am just not erudite enough to get it all written down in a way that would do it justice. My wife and I came in for our third wedding anniversary, and I have a strong suspicion that's going to have to become a tradition going forward. Spaghettoni Portofino pictured (and highly recommended, along with the pistachio gelato!)

Wow this was a delicious meal. Perfect proportions as well. We got two cocktails that were perfectly made. The meatballs off the chef's menu were unbelievably good and the rigatoni we're exactly what I needed. You must go.

Went here for our wedding anniversary (11/24). We were seated right away without a reservation, which was great. We chose Nando Milano after looking at the menu online; it seemed like a promising, authentic experience. The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere and friendly service staff.
- The restaurant was not too busy, yet we did not see a server for about 10-15 minutes after being seated. Our server was friendly and moderately attentive.
- Bread with olive oil: oil was very delicious. Some of the bread was a bit stale.
- 2018 Montepulciano: delicious, however if the menu specifies a 2018

It is a great place! We celebrated the birthday of my son there, he turned 20. We were very pleased with the level of service and food there. Also I wanted to mention a very cozy atmosphere there, with very nice soft music as a background.

We go here almost every time we come to the area to visit my partner's family. Have been here for dinner three times, ordered different dishes. It's pretty pricey especially if you order wine or cocktails as well but food wise it's with it.
Their carpaccio is hands down the best I've ever had and order it regularly if it's on the menu.
I'd definitely recommend saving some space for desert because their cannoli is absolutely worth every calorie.

Great atmosphere and great food. The price is a bit high and it’s not for casual dining. But you definitely need to try the ravioli with lobster and crab meat. It’s so good! And the whole octopus am for appetizer!

Fantastic like the last 2 times we went with family!!! Excellent for the Champaign/Urbana Area. We order different items to try and share. Service is great!

Perfect all around. They made our anniversary evening very special. It was my first visit, but definitely will not be my last!
-The food was the best Italian around and very authentic. The chef was amazing!
-The service was second to none. From the time we were seated throughout the entire night, the entire staff was attentive and kind but not overbearing!
