I am a high-end (and super fun!) lifestyle and portrait photographer in the Chicago suburbs. I believe photos should be gorgeous, but natural! Services
I am loving life in Palatine with my husband and two little boys. I am a DIY lover (I've written a home improvement blog since 2009, check it out here!) an avid gardener, and a light-chaser. In the cold months, my favorite activity is laughing my butt off on the couch while watching my favorite shows.
My sessions are all-inclusive, and your stunning high resolution images are delivered via digital download. My style is a perfect mixture of candid and posed moments, and the resulting gallery tells the story of your unique family and personality. All photos are edited to perfection. For the first time, I'm offering daffodil mini sessions in this darling little patch of flowers for the best spring portraits you'll find! No set ups, just simple nature. Mostly geared towards children, we can also do nice family portraits here. The grass will get greener in the next week or so, but it's still.
I took personal branding photos for Shannon's amazing book called 'The Happy Hormone Guide last year, and this year she contacted me again to do some Lake Zurich engagement photos with her longtime boyfriend. It was such a honor to capture these two! We used a lovely LZ location for summertime vibes, but had to.

Sara was excellent at handling our extended family of 18 (10 adults and 8 children under 7 years). She had plenty of jokes to keep both adults and children smiling, which resulted in truly candid photos. She was also flexible with both the location and the kids, which made things easier. We are very thankful we found her and hope you enjoy your photo session with her as well!

Sara is such a genuine photographer who is gifted in capturing the natural moment through each shot. The whole session felt like I was talking with an old friend (who just happened to bring a camera.) She was very understanding of my needs both during and after the shoot which shows how she goes above and beyond in this line of creative work.

Words can not express how happy my big blended family is with our photo extravaganza with Sarah! We had the most amazing time ever! Her location suggestions were absolutely perfect!
