Joseph High School opened its doors to become the northernmost Catholic High School in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. The school is named after, and claims as its patron, St. Joseph, husband of Mary and earthly father of our savior, Jesus Christ. St. Joseph is a model of family life, patience, and service.
I am delighted about your interest in our school. You may be asking yourself, Why St. Joseph High School? During these unprecedented times, it's important to belong to a family of like-minded people. While we are in the distance learning modality, our superior distance learning plan mimics the experience of being physically in school through real-time teaching and interaction.
Spots are limited, but we are confident that the class of 2026 will be a wonderful, diverse, and talented group of young people. Don't risk missing out on becoming part of our St. Students and families will be interviewed after an application is submitted and reviewed. Once a determination of acceptance is made, we will offer admission to families and allow them to pay their registration to ensure their spot on our roster for next year.
Students are given financial assistance from the school, called Financial Aid. Families apply through FACTS for consideration of financial aid. These awards are communicated to parents in March of 2022 for the 2022-2023 school year. SJHS is pleased to offer FACTS Payment Plans & Grant & Aid Financial Needs Assessment on the same platform.
In order to best meet the academic needs of St. Joseph High School students, the school offers three diploma programs: University Preparatory with Honors, University Preparatory, and High School Diploma in association with a personalized Student Team Education Plan (STEP). A Certificate of Attendance is available to students who are unable to meet the graduation requirements due to cognitive limitations.

A good fit maybe if you are perfect, but any child that is not will be pushed to fail. Any symptom of disability is punished. They do not like parent involvement or 2e children. My son regularly lost points for side effects from medications or his inability to focus at night. Trying to get answers or a return email is like asking for a kidney donation. We were working with Tri Counties and the District while attending St. Joseph, even professional options are dismissed. I give an extra star because the office and scheduling staff are nice.
