Here at Bugaboo Tattoo we pride ourselves on working with some of the finest tattoo artists and piercers in the Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland area. Don began his art career as a commercial illustrator with companies like AT&T, US Steel, NIPSCO & Guidepost Magazine. My entire life I've been immersed in art and the skill of drawing has always come so naturally to me, it only made.
After retiring from the Bugaboo shop in 2005, John's apprentices Kate and Becky took over as full time body piercers at Bugaboo. As a full service body art shop, Bugaboo is proud to provide its clients with dedicated, trained, piercing artists and the largest quality jewelry selection we have ever had.
It is estimated that close to 25% of the U.S. population has some sort of tattoo. Eventually, as many as 50% of them want to have laser tattoo removal. Let me start off by the saying the customer service was AWESOME!! From me calling on the phone then walking into the business. I took my daughter in today as a walk-in for her first tattoo. Donna was so professional, nice and did a REALLLLLY good job!! I will definitely be back to get some things done for me.

Canaan took the time to clean everything in his station before my tattoo. He made sure I liked the position and style of the stencil before applying the ink. His conversation was light and pleasant. He checked in with me during the tattooing process to make sure I was okay. He even touched up my old tattoo and I absolutely love the outcome of both. I truly appreciate the seriousness these artists take in their work to not only ensure that their clients are comfortable but safe! I highly recommend and will absolutely be back!

I have gotten my nose pierced and two tattoos from here and I can't say enough great things about Bugaboo. The staff is incredible and they do incredible work. Everything is very reasonably priced and I am already planning my next tattoo. HIGHLY recommend everyone to take their business here!

My niece and I got tattoos with Scott and we are in love with our ink! Scott was incredibly patient with me and all of my crazy indecision.
While we were there, they had good traffic flow. So it looks like they have solid business, which is good. We saw Scott's client before us and she got a huge tattoo that was just beautiful.
The facility was clean, comfortable, and I'll be going back again for sure! We highly recommend this place.

Some of the best tattoo work I've ever seen or received by Aaron Peters. He has a long waiting list but trust me it's worth the wait. His detail is incredible and his portrait work is extremely realistic. Very cool and friendly person to sit with for those long sessions. I've had 2 tattoos done by him so far. The rest of the staff is very friendly and professional and the shop is clean and comfortable.

I went here for an impromptu septum piercing about a month ago and Chris was my piercer. He did great and made me feel very comfortable while maintaining a very professional demeanor. I went on a monday which is not easy to do as most peircers in the area are off mondays but bugaboo was recommened by a friend and i couldnt be happier with my visit. The piercing has healed great and is not crooked which can be an issue with septums. Overall I give him a 10 out of 10!!

I have been here 3 times for my nose piercing and each time was a 10/10 experience! Chris pierced my nose twice and helped take out a piercing to put in another. He was very helpful when it came to explaining how to care for my new piercing. He was very personable and took the time to know his client. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic environment. Clean with an abundance of art. Nate was my artist and he was super down to earth and friendly. I got exactly what I wanted and man can he pull some really straight lines!!! He took his time in making sure the stencil was on perfectly and then went to work with expert precision. Thanks!

Go to Audrey Maher for your tattoo work! You won't be disappointed. She is very attentive to detail. She is a great artist. Don't tell her I told you but, she's amazing at cover ups. You need to check out her portfolio to truly see how talented she is. She can freehand amazing work. Just trust her, and you won't be disappointed. Book your appointment in advance, because as you know great artists are booked way in advance!
