Eye health is one of the most important components of life, as vision can deteriorate throughout the years for many people. While routine vision exams are a vital part of life for anybody who wears glasses or contact lenses, they are also important for those who do not. A routine vision examination with our experienced optometrist, Dr. Karl C. Saliba, can determine the health of your eyes and any potential risks to your eye health in the future.
Some eye conditions may require surgery to completely remedy the problem, but in many cases, they do not. When surgery is not an option, eligible patients may opt for vision therapy with our optometrist, Dr. Karl C. Saliba. Vision therapy for the eyes is similar to physical therapy for an injured body part.
One of the more common choices in recent years to correct vision problems, including nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism is corrective contact lenses. Depending on an individual's lifestyle, wearing corrective glasses may not always offer a viable option for comfort and practicality. Corrective contact lenses give individuals the option to correct their vision without impacting an active lifestyle.
For nearly 40 years, Dr. Karl C. Saliba has worked diligently to provide our patients with the best options for their eye health. This can include referrals for different surgeries and procedures, including referrals to ophthalmologists. Ophthalmologists deal with the entire spectrum of eye care, including anatomical care and prescription of treatments for a wide variety of eye-related issues.
