We welcome you to contact our office to schedule your confidential consultation. Consultations are currently taking place via Zoom videoconference and telephone, depending on preference. Early in her career, Jessica witnessed how destructive the court process can be for families, at a time when they need support and guidance the most.
Listen to Jessica's guest appearance on Dr. Kyle Wallner's podcast explaining the Collaborative Divorce Practice in more detail and Dr. Kyle Wallner explains the health benefits associated with the process. Divorce is a challenging transition layered with feelings of anger, hurt, loss, sadness, guilt, fear and other emotional variables.
Michigan now allows family law attorneys to offer Limited Scope Representation ("LSR") also known as unbundling. Or, some clients retain the LSR attorney to provide guidance during their divorce proceedings from start to finish, without the time and expense of having the attorney appear in Court.

This type of relationship makes legal services more accessible and can provide clients some peace of mind that they have the correct documents and a solid understanding of the court system, procedures, and what to expect. This service allows the client to seek input and guidance when helpful so that they can move through the court system in a more confident and efficient manner.
As a collaboratively trained attorney, family law mediator, and certified professional coach, Jessica has seen all aspects of her clients' divorce transition - the before, during, and after. During a major life transition, it is completely normal for individuals to face internal blocks and various stressors that affect their perspective and how they think, feel, and act.
More and more couples are looking for amicable ways to move through the court process. Thankfully, in 2019, MI created a new court rule that offers a less adversarial approach to filing divorce paperwork with the court. Gone are the days of Plaintiff VS. Defendant" and having to provide a notice that "you are being sued."

Jessica is a fantastic family law lawyer. Anytime someone asks for a referral for an aggressive family law attorney I refer them to Jessica. I have seen her in action and she is without a doubt one of the best!
