In town for an Auburn recruiting event, I saw a For Sale sign in front of Auburn's historic Wittel Dorm. I called the listing agent, then Brian and within a week we had an offer on the property and began this amazing journey to bring a historic, boutique hotel to Auburn. The transformation of Wittel Hall into The Collegiate Hotel combines our love of historic renovations, family and all things Auburn.

Our stay was perfect! We stayed in one of the Samford Suites and could not have asked for better. The beds were so comfortable that we pulled the linens back to see what kind of mattresses we were sleeping on! The balcony was spacious with comfortable seating. The history behind the building is intriguing. If we are ever in need of a room in Auburn, this will be the first place we call!

We stopped in on our way back home to Houston. My husband graduated from Auburn in ‘86 and he hasn’t been back since. Just happened to find it online and reviews were good. Beds are great. Comfy. Clean. Great roof top bar. Lovely front porch for morning coffee. Highly recommend. Walking distance to most everything. We look forward to going back. Staff was great. Friendly. Lovely little boutique hotel. One of my favs.

The staff was friendly but not knowledgeable on cocktails that are not on their brief menu. Ordered a Woodford Manhattan up, took 10 minutes to get and I had to explain the staff what serving a drink up means. Failed to garnish as well. I will say their house drinks are good so stick to those or simple mixes.

Wonderful experience at this hotel! Loved the trendy boutique vibe will all of its amenities. The location of the hotel was so convenient to campus, and the price was reasonable for the quality of the experience! Well-designed rooms, luxurious bathrooms with waterfall showers, golf-cart shuttle service, light breakfast, rooftop views - I WILL be staying here again!

Absolutely wonderful stays! We had a fantastic New Year's Eve experience ringing in 2019 and just returned from a quick excursion to watch the Auburn Tigers take on Ole Miss at Plainsman Park. The Collegiate is truly a full service boutique experience. The weather was dreadful for the game, so the staff made certain we reached our venue in their covered golf cart. We also enjoyed rides to and from for our New Year's Eve dinner at Amsterdam Cafe. The owners are very hands on and congenial. This hotel is very new and very modern. But also likes to exaggerate / borderline lie about the amenities in the rooms. I booked "Suite 34" which their website boast as having a 60" TV, Bose sound system and an overall Auburn theme. NONE of that is true. There is a 55" TV. No other sound system, definitely not a Bose sound system and nothing about that room has to do with the "academic and athletic history of Auburn". Very deceiving company. Also the "hot" water was lukewarm which makes a shower not very enjoyable. Every staff member I interacted with was

Awesome Modern Boutique Hotel in Downtown Auburn. Lobby and Rooftop Bars. Walking distance to restaurants and bars, valet can also take you on a golf cart if desired.
