Services
We all have some form of wounding, often times starting in childhood and getting validated through our lives. This wound causes pain and usually stems from shame, abandonment, fear and feelings of not being safe; anything we would call trauma. Think openly when you think of the word trauma, it can take many forms, not just the obvious.
Deer Hollow offers an intimate co-ed Residential Center in Draper, Utah. Nestled near the base of the Wasatch Mountains, the Pioneer House has been customized for individuals as they begin a new life journey and progress through our program. This location has been designed to enhance client recovery and maximize healing.
Deer Hollow adheres to cutting edge, evidence based, best practice intensive trauma programming. We address the mental and emotional well-being of our clients through our intensive program.
By participating in our unique formulary of clinical groups, we are able to teach the client how to recognize unhealthy patterns, learn more effective coping skills, and give them the opportunity to practice these new approaches in a supportive and therapeutic environment.In addition, our clients participate in recreational outings, fellowship meetings, and community service.

During this phase clients will have more freedom to practice recovery skills and integrate everything they have learned into society, while still working daily with our treatment team. This is a perfect opportunity to practice and implement treatment principles into everyday living. We are conveniently located in Draper, UT, and we offer various levels of care and scheduling to address individual therapeutic needs.
The transitional phase from detox or inpatient care back into everyday life is a very crucial time in recovery. Deer Hollow recognizes the importance of creating a safe and comfortable living space where clients will continue to progress. Our Recovery Residences offer independent living where individuals can practice daily life skills and accountability while continuing Outpatient Treatment.

Incredible staff, laser focused on getting to the core of each individual. Once there, the healing they guide you through is truly transformative. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine what I am capable of. The modalities are varied, current and eye opening. Learning about yourself, what makes you believe who you are based on often a cloudy lens is priceless. Best place for true healing....EVER!!

Deer Hollow saved my life and healed my soul. I am recently retired after 24 years in law enforcement and was at an all time low when I finally asked for help. The staff were phenomenal and I was on my way to Deer Hollow in a couple days. It’s hard to go through and try to heal from your traumas. The therapists are amazing and without them I never would have had a chance to get my life back. Words can’t describe how grateful I am for all the staff at Deer Hollow.

Deer Hollow has excellent therapists and staff that truly care about the clients they serve. With a primary focus on treating trauma they are uniquely designed with first responders in mind. It is a very intentional by design, with a mix of group and individual therapies, physical activity, reading, sharing. I always felt supported which created an atmosphere of safety. That safety gave me the confidence to open up and take advantage of the healing that was available. A year and a half later I'm still growing and I still keep in touch with several folks I shared time with, and have met many more

I have been in emergency services for 35 years.. police,fire,swat, medic… after arriving at deer hollow, I was very anxious the staff,and facilities were absolutely amazing. I would 100% suggest if you are suffering from ptsd,anxiety,alcohol or any other symptoms to please realize there is an awesome place at deer hollow. I never believed in ptsd etc.. eating humble pie now. It saved my life and marriage.

I came to Deer Hollow a broken and dead person, ready to put myself in a grave 3 years ago from trauma related PTSI from military and law enforcement careers. Deer Hollow literally saved my and gave me hope. For the first time in my life I felt real love and connection to others suffering like me. They taught us how to save ourselves and each other. Instead of trying to survive in life like I had for 47 years, I now live life for the first time ever. I was a patient at deer hollow and from my experience there the staff cares more about making money than helping people. Their policy’s are ridiculous and the help they provide is definitely on the low end of helpful. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I was told there are people that need help more than me and that I had been there too long and to fill my space with someone who needs it more. I had a suicide attempt in may and I was far from being ok. The therapists have no control over the class room and there is one day a week you are actually taught something. The rest is a free

Having been to many treatment centers, I can honestly say, Deer Hollow is by far the most dedicated to individual care and personalized treatment. I have felt alone in my issues for my entire life, until my time at Deer Hollow. Be prepared to do the work asked of you, if you want the results. If not, just go to any cookie cutter treatment center. This place is truley different with some of the most professional staff I have ever encountered.

Deer Hollow is by far the best treatment facility I have encountered. After suffering a 4 year opiate addiction, in and out of multiple outpatient and residential treatment centers that did not seem to work, I was ready to give up hope. That was until I found Deer Hollow... a recovery center unlike anything I had ever experienced. From day one, the therapists and staff made me feel comfortable and safe. I have had nothing but good experience with deer hollow inpatient as well as their aftercare program and sober living. I have been to other treatment centers and this has been the only one that proved to be effective. The staff is second to none and they truly care about the patients rather than their money. They have treated me like family since the beginning of my stay and continue to provide support for me after i have graduated and gone on with my life. I will be forever grateful for Deer Hollow and the employees they have working for them.
