Founded in 2014, Bastiano's is the creation of Chris and Jessica Linford. The name came from Jessica's Italian grandfather "Nano" who came from Aci Trezza, Sicily to the United States at the age of 13 to help support his family in Sicily. He was born, Sebastiano, but the midwife inaccurately wrote Bastiano on his birth certificate and it was never changed.
He used this name throughout the rest of his life. The logo we use is an actual replica of his signature which we gathered from birthday cards and valentine cards to his wife, Camilla (Jessica's grandmother "Nana"). Bastiano loved cooking for his family, especially pizza! But no matter what he cooked he did it while humming and singing opera arias because of how happy it made him to cook for those he loved.

Top notch Italian restaurant. Food freshly prepared. The homemade Ceasars dressing is to die for. There were five of us and everyone ordered something different. All agreed that their dish was delicious 😋. My daughter in law had keto pizza. Olive Garden doesn't even come close to it. Yummy for the tummy. Thanks Bastiano's for a great dinning experience.

Our family ate here while we were on vacation in Bastrop and it was great! We called about 10 minutes before they were going to close and the owner said they would be happy to serve us if we wanted to come even though they were going to close. Very nice couple that own this restaurant and they aim to please. The anti-pasto salad, pizza and gelato were all very tasty! Will definitely come back when we are in the area. Thank you!!

My family and I ate here earlier today. The food was delicious! I had the dinner special too much food for me but very good. I chose the salad, breadsticks and chicken alfredo. My husband had chicken parmesan. It was yummy as well! My son had a mini pizza very good as well. I will definitely be back!

Ordered food from out of town for a family member recovering from surgery in Bastrop. Unfortunately the restaurant didn't deliver as advertised, but we were able to arrange pick up.
Chose the dinner specials with three different pasta dishes, three side salads, and breadsticks. Then decided to include desserts: lava cake, cheesecake, and strawberry shortcake.
The family LOVED the food, said it was more than they could eat at one sitting, and were thrilled about the delicious desserts.

Had another opportunity to support this local small business today, and I have no regrets. Their food is just delicious and freshly prepared in house. Their pizza and pasta is my favorite in Bastrop. The atmosphere of this restaurant is very peaceful and classy. I highly recommend. SUPPORT OUR LOCAL BUSINESSES=)

Been there twice. The pizza is ok, the second time we did an online order when we went to pick it up 20 minutes later they said they were out of pizza dough so never made our pizza. Would have been nice if they called us to let us know... they did offer to give us an already made pizza but we declined.

We called ahead for a big dine in group order for our traveling tennis team. Jacob was amazing throughout the entire process! Our tables were ready when we arrived and the food came out quickly and exactly as ordered. The wait service was top notch! The pizza and wings we ordered were great and the gelato was heavenly! Our entire experience was excellent and made even more special by the generous couple who graciously paid for the team's check. There are good people in world and we found them here.

I'm in shock this place isn't rated higher. Every course far exceeded my expectations. We tried the $7.99 lunch special. What a great value! You get a choice of Pasta of the Day/Personal Pizza/ Calzone and Soup/Salad AND breadsticks/Vegetable of the Day. I tried Friday's pasta and soup of the day and was very pleased. The broccoli and cheese soup tasted like it could have been served at a higher end restaurant and the breadsticks were so tasty on their own. AND guess what?!?... free refills on their delicious lemonades. The server was so kind and helpful. All around it was a great

We had pizza here and upon our arrival the server was visibly disappointed we wanted a table instead of taking out. The entire time we were there, the server wore rubber gloves! He served food, moved the sidewalk sign inside, and did who knows what else while wearing the same rubber gloves! Disgusting!!!

We went here for lunch on a Saturday. Their lunch special was the best way to taste their fresh and delicately flavored herb bread, soup, pizza and pasta. The tomato bisque was amazing. Brick over pizza served hot and fresh was very good. Must stop by if you are on your way to Austin and need a quick bite.
Love love loooove their choco lava cake with ice cream! The best lava cake till date. Soft and goes amazingly well with the ice cream!! Do make space for this dessert!!! The seating area, tables, everything is really good, very Italian vibes.

Our second visit to this restaurant was with our son and his girlfriend. It's a Friday evening fairly early and the restaurant was very busy. We found a table and our waitress was immediately at our table taking drink orders.
She gave us sufficient time to make up our minds on what to order. We ordered 2 large pizzas and 1 personal and a one person had a salad. Salad was brought out very fast and we waited about 20 minutes for our delicious pizzas. When we were done our waitress brought us boxes and our check. We will go back to this restaurant again.
