Runway Salon is owned and operated by stylist, Krystal Safonov. What was once a small boutique salon has turned into a dynamic full-service 15-seat studio, headquartered in the charming Fair Oaks Village (just off the square). This place is amazing.. The staff here is very attentive and so kind .. I absolutely love Krystal and how she makes sure her clients are happy with every service they receive from her salon rather she provides it or one of the other fabulous ladies here. If you are looking for a new place to have your hair done, a spray tan or are in need to see an aesthetician this is a great spot

I had been searching for a long time for a good stylist/colorist. My previous experiences were fair at best. Then I found Heather at Runway Salon. She asked me a lot of questions about what I was looking for, what my current/past styles and color choices had been, what I liked/disliked, etc. Heather was so thoughtful and listened intently to what my wants and needs were. I HIGHLY recommend runway salon! I’ve never had my hair cut short, and I was ready for something new (but still super scared) and Heather helped me figure out exactly what I wanted and I could NOT be happier!… She was super chill, friendly, and usually I’m so awkward and hate talking to people! However, she made me feel so comfortable!
Also, the salon is just gorgeous inside! Good music, and they offer drinks while you wait :) I will be back again!

This place is fantastic. I had previously gotten my hair dyed for the first time at another hair salon and they didn’t listen and colored my whole head when I wanted just highlights. When I walked in to this place to try and get my hair fixed they welcomed me in and were sweethearts. The lady that did my hair listened to exactly what I wanted and did just that. This place is so aesthetically pleasing inside as well. Great visit, this will be the only place I get my hair done because they execute what you want perfectly and the staff are so kind.

I called on a Wednesday, and was able to book a cut and color with Krystal on a Friday. Salon was clean and comfortable, active with four other clients in the large space, but felt like social distance was… still being respected. I walked in with a quarantine year’s worth of grey roots with demi permanent brassy red brown ends. She asked for a few pics of what I’d like my hair to look like, and I’m pleased and impressed with what I got. Texture feels soft and healthy. Pics are of me before, the “goal” hairstyle, and me after.

We were happy to get a last minute appointment at Runway with Krystal. My 12 year old had an idea of what she wanted, and Krystal worked with us to get the right color and cut, even though it was a bit out of the ordinary. She took such care and communicated so thoroughly with us. I know it can be tricky to work outside of your comfort zone, but Krystal really balanced our wish with reality and created an amazing look for this growing child who is stepping into their unique self. Thank you Krystal!!

I love the layout and feel of the Salon. Everyone working here was so nice. plus being offered a mimosa or coffee while I waited was such a treat. Katy my stylist, told me that they also have white or red wine.… I got my highlights redone and a fresh new hair cut. So glad I tried this salon, very impressed and satisfied. Will be returning for sure!

Worst experience ever. I was 10 min early to my appointment and i didn't even get acknowledged until 30 min after my appointment was supposed to start. 40 min of waiting later my second session started for hair color transformation. My hair didn't turn out anything like i asked her to do and i had photos of what i wanted. When i called her a few days after she said it will change into the color i wanted with a few washed. Complete BS. It's been several weeks and my hair color is horrible. Waisted $300 and 8 hours of my time. The salon was very clean, nicely decorated and the staff

I had an appointment with Caroline Hollingsworth. She was super sweet and friendly and really listened to what I wanted. I asked for a very short pixie cut and she made sure to ask a lot of questions to ensure I got the exact style I wanted. Needless to say I am very happy with my new pixie cut and I highly recommend going to Caroline.

This was an impromptu visit. I was waiting for my car to be serviced so I looked up salons in the area. I called and I was lucky enough that they scheduled me in.
When I walked in a really pretty woman welcomed me and said that Caroline will be with me shortly.
Caroline walked up and cheerily greeted me. She took em back and I started discussing my hair. When I showed her a picture of what I was looking at she said "great! This is my specialty!" I was super happy.
Caroline wasn't lying! She hooked it up so proper that I haven't been this happy since my old regular hairstylist

First off let me just say the VIBES is everything! This salon has so much character, I absolutely fell in love! Second, CHELSEA slaaaaaayyeeeeddddd my hair! Being Filipino with such coarse, dark, thick hair is not easy for anyone to do. But Chels really knows how tame my mane! If you're in the fair oaks area I suggest you hit her up and make an appointment. Other than that the salon is also extremely clean and the owner is just the sweetest. I would give this place more stars if I could!

I love the upscale clean & exciting vibe this Salon has! The Stylists are highly educated in multiple facets of the hair industry! The parking is phenomenal best there is to be had in “old town fair oaks”... product lines are high end and there’s a variety and it’s fully stocked! Beautiful Salon. In fact.. it’s the best.
