Our cabinet shop was established in 1969 when family patriarch, Henry Long, became a cabinet maker and took over ownership of a small cabinet shop in the Santa Cruz Mountain town of Felton, California. Together with his son Ron Long who at the time was still in his teens, Henry worked to build a business known for quality and expert craftsmanship from Monterey to San Francisco.

The Summer, 2012 issue of Santa Cruz Style featured a story about a beautiful new Tuscan-style farmhouse in the Corralitos hills that we are pleased to have been a part of. The 7,200 square foot home featured in the article belongs to Robert Harmann and Denise Danisch, Aptos residents since 1995 and Silicon Valley retirees.

Thank you Ron and Nathan for building my beautiful custom kitchen cabinets.
When I first met with Ron he listened to my ideas and incorporated them with his experience as a master craftsman. I wanted a paper towel drawer and it's awesome. Ron also knew how to layout the cabinets and drawers for a functional kitchen. The large full out drawers house all my bowls, pots and pans. The upper cabinets with glass doors allows me to display my fine crystal.
The workmanship and attention to detail speakers for itself.
My window bench with large pullout drawers is a great addition to the kitchen.

I went to ron and nathan with a few photos, a ton of ideas and a hope that they could put my thoughts into a reality. i wanted a dresser that could be used as a changing table while my kids are young, but still be functional and mature enough for them to use as they grew up!
they built me exactly what i wanted, and made it even better! they fine tuned my ideas, filled in the gaps, and let me be a part of the process!
i love the furnature and when we remodel our kitchen and bathrooms we will be going back to the long cabinet shop for help!!
