Following the "call-to-the-north", Jean and her husband Troy, moved to northern Wisconsin in 1997. There they have enjoyed raising their 2 children in the splendor of the northwoods. They have lived in the Mason/Grand View area and now reside on Lake Namakagon.
An active community volunteer, including Grand View Firehouse 50, Cable Area Lion's Club, Grand View Methodist Church, and the Mason Fire and Ambulance Service, Jean offers a vast knowledge of the area and its communities.

We advertise all cabins equally, but we give each cabin a week to shine on our Facebook with Cabin of the Week. Our website is powered by LiveRez, a company well known for their mark on the vacation rental market. Homeowners receive monthly statements. Homeowners have access to the rental calendar - this allows you to see all your bookings, and makes sure you have time in your cabin, too!.
Amenities was above and beyond, usable internet, satellite TV, screened in porch, 2 bathrooms and showers, comfortable mattresses, comfortable and clean furniture, well heated with thermostats in each room, nice deck with plenty of chairs, and great to have a shed for garbage, and was nice to have a close boat launch.
Here are the guidebooks for each area the cabins are in. When you book, you receive the specific guidebook for your cabin about 30 days prior to your check-in date. They are more detailed about the cabin and the area. Pack your clubs and bring your A game as you are now in the Golf Capital of Wisconsin with a great choice of finely sculptured and challenging courses.

Rented a large spacious cabin via AirBNB. The cabin was very clean, well kept and the photos were smaller than the experience - the cabin was huge! Our family had a fantastic time near Iron River and even skipped excursions to hang out and laugh with each other at the cabin. Thank you for giving us a fabulous family memory.

The New Management of North Country Vacation Rentals were a pleasure to do business with. We stayed at Deer Trail Lodge the last few nights in Unit 3. It was clean and had everything we needed for a stay. Really Liked the beds and shower was great! Nice and warm with a lot of DVD's if you don't want to watch the Satelite TV.

We booked a cabin rental for my boyfriend's birthday weekend/4 wheeler trip. The cabin was nice and cozy however the downstairs bathroom shower did not drain and the toilet wasn't working. No big deal, we spent very little time at the cabin anyways. Basically just slept there. We called to inform them of this. Someone came to fix while we were gone four wheeling and a woman called and left a nasty message. Apparently they had looked through all of our things and stated by the looks of all of our belongings we had more guests than allowed, and if we didn't have that many guests we didn't need to
