The brick & mortar location was started in 1997 in Newport Beach CA and continues to operate at that location. When I find the time I sell on line on Ebay and Esty under Swellegantvintage, and someday soon on this site. I work to bring unique authentic vintage to all that have a stylish sense of adventure.
I have been wearing, buying, and selling vintage for 20 years and my taste ranges from fun everyday to high end designer. The store is stocked with affordable 1940's-1980's items (an occasional piece on either side of that time line). I choose items based on style and condition, although sometimes items are made better with wear.

The shop is small and if you’re looking for mainly antiques I don’t recommend this place but if you’re looking for clothing it’s great! They have small items such as jewelry at the counter and in the back they have a great variety of shoes and a few hats and purses. I’d definitely recommend to check them out the owner is really nice and the location is great. If you’ve been to the Balboa area you would know that the streets are tiny but I’ve never had a problem with parking there’s a gas station next door and a small parking lot in the back.
