I grew up on my family's farm in Fulton, Illinois where I learned the value of hard work, honesty and integrity. I first became passionate about Chiropractic when my local Chiropractor helped me overcome my severe back pain due to an injury I sustained while playing sports in high school. It fascinated me how knowledgeable he was about the body and how quickly he was able to help me feel better.

Highly recommend! Went into see Dr. Ben with hip pain ( so bad it was keeping me up in the night). He found exactly where the problem was and was able to relieve the pain! I started going to Dr. Ben shortly after I moved to Ames in 2017 after others recommended him to me. I have since been going quite regularly to get adjustments. He helps me with my moderate back pain, both lower and upper. I stand on my feet a lot at my job (teacher) and going to see Dr. Ben and having him fix me up is what keeps me going! I also have noticed a difference in the quality of my sleep which I am also grateful for!

Would highly recommend! I was suffering with back and hip pain due to pregnancy and since I’ve been going to Dr. Heun, I feel so much better! I also started taking my little girl in for constipation issues, and she has been going more regularly and without as much complaint. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, I’ve even been encouraged to bring my children in to play while I’m with the doctor! Love going here!

I came to Dr. Ben with a shoulder problem that had been going on for over 2 years. After seeing a physical therapist, and 2 different shoulder specialists to no avail I gave Dr. Ben a try. Dr. Ben used the Active Release Technique and gave me some simple band exercises. My shoulder is 100% better! Dr. Ben is very professional and very kind and easy to work with. I thank the Lord for Dr. Ben!

Ben is a fantastic chiropractor. Since going to him for my adjustments my back has felt better than it had in a long time. Every time I leave his office I have less pain. Also, he takes the time to get to know his patients. Its awesome that every time I visit they know exactly who I am, and remember some of the contents from our previous conversation, even after a few weeks. That being said he knows life gets busy, and visits cost money; and doesn't insist that I come in weekly, knowing I'll call when I need to come in again.

I was desperate to find relief. Dr. Ben is a miracle worker. After nothing seemed to be working at other places, Dr. Ben used his incredible skills in Active Release Technique with me. Oh....my....goodness! I am certain that Dr. Ben and his knowledge and skills in Active Release Technique are the best kept secret in Ames!
