We specialize in chiropractic, manual therapy, rehabilitation, and sports performance treatment. We serve as one of the few clinics in Ames, Iowa to offer chiropractic adjusting (manipulation), soft-tissue techniques, and progressive rehabilitative exercise, all under one roof.
Dr. Chris Feil was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Growing up, Dr. Feil was plagued by various injuries. One injury would lead to the next, it seemed like it became a never-ending cycle of stress fractures, ligament sprains, bursitis, muscle "pulls", back pain, neck pain, tendinitis, even a separated shoulder.
The modern chiropractor is an important cog in the evolving healthcare system. Chiropractic is profession that focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system, and the effects of these disorders on general health. I have been going to Dr Feil for a few months now. I have on an off lower back and neck issues and in the past have never found a chiro that can get it adjusted reliably. Chris is one of the few that is willing to spend however much time it takes to get everything back in line. Doesn't matter how sore or stiff my back is, he can reliable get it to move and get me back to 100. If you are looking for truly personalized care and great conversation, this is the place to go! He really should be charging more for his amazing service.

Dr. Feil FIXED ME when two other clinics could not. I was in almost constant pain (with my hip), and tried one clinic in town. Great PTs there that helped relieve the pain a bit, but I was not getting better overall. I decided to try another clinic with very good PTs and again, relief but no cure. The pain persisted. I was getting very discouraged after months and months of this inflammation, when a friend recommended Dr. Feil. What was different? He actually finally DIAGNOSED what was wrong with me, and we worked on steps to put it back together. It took several chiro sessions, and doing my part

I was so pleased with Team Chiropractic. I am from out of town and was camping nearby, and I tweaked something in my neck. Dr. Feil got me in at the last minute and spent a lot of time helping me. My pain level significantly decreased, and I was able to enjoy the rest of my vacation. I am so grateful! I wish I lived closer because I would be a loyal client!

I have fought with major pain in my left knee for 5 or more years. I've been to a lot of other doctors/ chriopractors / physical therapists who have never really helped me. Chris handles the problem unlike anyone else I've ever been to. He spent a lot of time with me - found my problem and literally removed the scar tissue around my knee so it would stop snapping on my LCL. Incredible difference in how I can move around. Even got back into basketball. I would recommend Chris to anyone - and I do! Thank you Chris if you read this. I really appreciate your help.
