Each appraisal will consist of an in depth description and photo of the piece. For insurance or private purposes we can accommodate a single piece to an entire collection. Bookman & Son can do everything from resizing rings to complete restorations and everything in between. We also offer free jewelry cleaning.

My fiance, Chris, and I decided to go ring browsing but both had no experience or knowledge regarding rings. He had heard on the WKNR-ESPN 850 about a family place that was supposed to be good for first-time ring shoppers like us. When we first arrived, Josh immediately put us at ease. He was very patient with us as we asked him a bunch of questions.

Working with Josh Bookman was a truly amazing experience. I started my engagement ring shopping with Bookman because I had heard so many good things on the radio. All of those things were confirmed. He was exceptionally professional and although other guests came and went throughout my shopping experience I never felt as though I was not his priority and I felt the other guests would agree. If I could give more stars I would. Josh went above and beyond to take my vision/design and bring it to life. He took on this task with no hesitation with an extremely tight timeline (8days), and during the busiest time of the year around the holidays. He worked on the design during the day and very late into the night to make sure the final design was exactly how I envisioned it to be. We went to look at engagement rings last month and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Josh made our visit so special and pressure-free. He ended up pulling a ring for me to try in a style I hadn’t even considered which ended up being the one I loved. Josh was a nice guy and easy to work with. I think I got a reasonably good deal and I'm sure they made their money too. A good win / win situation.
He even went above and beyond with advice on my wife's existing ring, cleaning, and replacing a broken ring I had at no charge.
I wasn't going to go there because Aaron Goldhammer was a spokesperson, but will go there again when in the market for jewelry.

Asking that perfect person to be by your side for the rest of your lives is going to be the most important question you will ever be faced to ask. At least for me it was, i knew i wanted to support the small business and shop locally so when i ask around the only response I received was Bookman & son.
