Owner, Garret Shafer, started off as an apprentice with Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local #1, and now with over 15 years of work, set out to start his own company, Northbound Masonry in 2017. Northbound Masonry owns all their own scaffolding which gives our clients the convenience of one company supplying, erecting & managing scaffold for a variety of projects.

I struggled for a year to find a mason that would return my calls and prioritize my residential project and then show up to do the job. Garret with Northbound Masonry returned my call immediately, was friendly, professional, respectful, and made it possible for me to have my wood stove installed to heat my home. I'm forever grateful. Hopefully Northbound will end up doing residential work again in the future - their skills are needed!
