About Us Report

Sugar Plum Tree has been in business for over 42 years located downstairs of Redeemer Church. We have four individual classrooms that range from 18mos-2.5 years to Pre-Kindergarten. Sugar Plum Tree follows the curriculum that has been developed by Maryellen Waters for 42 years and supplements it with the Early Learning Illinois Standards and the Creative Curriculum.

At Sugar Plum Tree Preschool Inc., you'll notice a difference in the surroundings as well as in our approach to child care and development. The goal is to create a balanced atmosphere with inviting and stimulating surroundings. We do this for each child by promoting individual learning, engaging in group play, and providing plenty of individual attention.

I have three granddaughters and they love this shop! With three girls it's so easy to find clothes for each of them when it's time for pictures, beach vacation, holidays etc. the employees are fantastic! love them all. The owner is the sweetest lady and always finds what we're looking for! Always our favorite shop!

Shop there often and have never had to exchange or return and I was unaware of exchange policy. Sales clerk was very nice but said she couldn’t do it. Asked owner to call me and she was EXTREMELY rude. Only wanted to exchange for something that fit and she said policy was set in stone. Still have items full price in store so it isn’t like they are on sale now. Think twice before shopping here. Young girls are nice but owner is not customer service oriented. Will take my business elsewhere for shops that appreciate my business.

Sugarplum Tree is THE place to find the best clothing for newborns all the way up to size 16 in boys AND girls. If I need a shower gift or birthday gift I always find what I'm looking for. The staff is super friendly and helpful!

I just want to say I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. The owner and staff are amazing. They have the most variety of children’s clothes around. We especially love the tween lines. You can’t go wrong shopping at The Sugarplum Tree in Perry, Ga!!!

Love this store! The new owner has bent over backwards for my girls and is always so thoughtful! I really love the remodel on the store and especially love the tween section that has been added. Such a hip yet traditional children’s shop.
