Services
At Kiddie Junction Educational Institute, we know the early childhood years are very important for children who are in the exciting process of making great strides and becoming more independent. In recognition of the crucial importance of these early years, Kiddie Junction has created a program tailored to meet the needs of each child.
At Kiddie Junction Educational Institute, we enjoy a family type of atmosphere among staff and parents. We offer extra programs at nominal charge and put on two productions each year that bring all the families together. Many of our wonderful teachers and staff have significant longevity with us; this consistency is very beneficial to your child as they develop.
Kiddie Junction Educational Institute has programs which provide assessments, portfolios and report cards to all families. All class rooms work on literacy, Jolly Phonics, arts and crafts, math, science, and family values. Kindergarten class is a full day and meets the requirements and testing of the local school district.
In the Kiddie Junction Educational Institute Toddler room, we encourage independent exploration and allow children to make choices. This helps to develop a child's fine motor, vocabulary, large motor, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills. We offer a stimulating environment with a variety of manipulatives, books, and other age appropriate toys that are accessible at all times.
At Kiddie Junction Educational Institute, our PreSchool program incorporates our Creative Curriculum Continuum. Each lesson plan follows an engaging and educational theme, which includes activities in areas such as art, music, math, literacy, science, as well as fine and large motor skill activities.

We absolutely love Kiddie Junction. We have 3 kids so we have been in all of the rooms. It's a great balance of learning by lessons and learning through play, which is important to me. One of my favorite things about KJ is that they walk to parks everyday, weather permitting, starting in the Young 3's room.

Kiddie Junction is an absolute joy to walk into! The staff is warm and welcoming. I know they keep up to date on educational trends because the top administrators attend conferences regularly. I know the owner and director personally and I know her pride in this child-centered program. I recommend it without reservation!

I have been with Kiddie Junction for almost 6 years now and all 4 of my children attend/have attended. It is a second home to my kids and they absolutely love going to school each and every day. I love the daily updates with pictures and I’m thrilled with the fact that my kids are doing hands on learning every single day. I have no doubt that my 4 year old is prepared for kindergarten, and I love hearing my 3 year old say things like “my teacher loves me” or “my teacher reads my favorite book for me”. About two years ago we moved to Des Plaines with a 1 1/2 year old girl. Priority on our list was to find a safe, nurturing, diverse learning environment for our daughter. After researching several daycare options Kiddie Junction Educational Institute was the evident first choice. It was the best decisions we have made to date. Our daughter is now 3 1/2 and we have an 8 month old who also attends Kiddie Junction.

Kiddie junction is a really great Educational Center. It really helped my son learn a lot of great things here. He has learned to write his name to eating foods he would never try. The teachers are amazing, they really engage with the kids and work with them where it is needed. The staff is awesome and involve with you and your kids. Ms. Lisa and Ms. Robin listen to you and help you out to the best of their ability with whatever you need. Would definitely recommend to check kiddie junction out.

One of the main reasons we chose Kiddie Junction was because I personally went there…30 years ago. It stands to reason that a company which provides services - ANY type of company or service mind you – for over 30 years is doing, what they do, at the highest of quality. Kiddie Junction in Des Plaines is just that. As stated I attended Kiddie Junction almost 30 years ago but times have changed in regards to child care. That said, when it was time for my 4 month old daughter to start attending a day care, my wife and I visited at least 4-5 different day care centers before ultimately choosing

I would absolutely recommend Kiddie Junction to any parent. I felt like my daughter was so well prepared for Kindergarten. My daughter Lily attended KJ from 10 months old all the way through preschool. I would absolutely come back here again in the future. I loved all the teachers and the staff is so helpful and their curriculum structured.
