John E. Campo is a native of Destrehan, graduating from Destrehan High School and Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture in 1981. After interning at large architectural firms in New Orleans, he was licensed by the State in 1985 and has 32 years of experience in architectural practice.
He is very involved in his community serving on the St. Charles Parish Beautification Task Force, the preservation of old DHS "front yard", and an involved parishioner at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He has served on the Comprehensive Land Use Steering Committee for St. Charles Parish and volunteers at many civic projects.
