Venture Martial Arts was founded in 2013 by Micah Martin, a passionate instructor who began teaching martial arts nearly 15 years ago. His goal was to transcend the offerings of a traditional Martial Arts studio by not only offering students self-defense and physical health benefits, but also by building skills like confidence, respect, perseverance, discipline and self-control - traits that will last them a lifetime.
Mr. Micah Martin began teaching martial arts in 2008 and quickly became a passionate instructor who loves helping children succeed in taekwondo and in life. Mr. Martin believes that through taekwondo, he can impact children by helping them develop the traditional values that changed his life forever, thus, Venturing to a Better Life.
By teaching children Martial Arts, we solve three major problems using a fun and interactive environment. We pace out a MINIMUM of 3.5 years to achieve Black Belt. Each and every belt is earned through meeting two or more curriculum/challenge-based requirements completed over an average of three months.
Children will learn to better focus, both on their instructors at the studio as well as on their teachers in the classroom. Kids will interact with others in their age-group as well as instructors to strengthen their social and communication skills. Little ones will learn how to control their bodies, build strength and learn to process their thoughts before acting on them.
Children will learn focus, preservice, discipline and goal-setting techniques to set them up for success as they grow. Children will develop confidence and leadership skills that will allow them to be class president, captain of their sports team or leader at work later on in life. Martial Arts teaches children to move with grace and agility as they build strength, power and endurance.

We LOVE Venture Martial Arts. Our son has been going there for years now and is not only moving toward a black belt, but has become better behaved at home as well. He LOVES going and practices his moves at home on his own. They did a great job navigating through Covid as well. Highly recommended!

Venture Martial Arts has been an INCREDIBLE place for both of my children! Their teachers are patient, structured, and inclusive to all children. Venture has been a great experience for both of my boys. My oldest will be testing for his black belt soon and my youngest his right in his heals. The instruction is world class, fun and focused. The qualities and values taught have been very instrumental in my boys development as athletes and good young people. I would recommend to anyone.

We found venture through the free month they sent out to get people moving after covid. My son needed it and i held on to the flyer for some time before a family member told me I should really take my kiddo. Its the best thing Ive ever done. My son was ecstatic after the first class. Hes been going for about two months now and tested to see if he could graduate to the next belt. I have never seen him be so passionate about anything

My son has has a blast in this program! His behavior is still in the works, but he understand work and discipline much more. I loved watching him and helping him practice that I decided to join myself! A few days in and body is FEELING the effects. I can tell this is going to keep me in great shape. The whole staff at our location is so great especially Mr. Flores (second to the left) and Mr. A (not shown below). They care so much about what they do.

My daughter LOVES this place! I have seen such amazing growth in her and seen her attitude improve in a multitude of ways since beginning classes 2 years ago. We had a 6 month stint that she was unable to participate due to an injury (non related) and when we returned it was like she never left. The patience and care given by all the instructors here is AMAZING! I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone that asks!

It is such a pleasure to write this review. We started Venture MA about 3 months ago and I can't same enough good things about this place. It's more than a dojo it's a family!! Since we started my son is focusing in the classroom (where before we were getting calls home from the teacher saying he was screwing around too much), he tries hard, he sets goals and works toward them, he learns his stranger danger and anti-bullying stragies, his confidence has improved greatly, especially love the discipline and respect for others portion but most importantly he loves being there!!! I signed my 4-year-old son up for Taekwondo not knowing what to expect - but hoping he'd learn more discipline, respect, confidence, standing up for himself...and obviously, sweet ninja skills. Venture Martial Arts has absolutely exceeded my expectations as a parent.
