Credentialing is the process of being reviewed by insurance panels to determine if you will be considered an "in-network" or a "participating" provider. What this means is that, once you are on an insurance panel, the clients insured through that panel can maximize their insurance benefits when seeing you.
You have a choice to spend hours a week logging procedures, visits, receipts, sending out statements, creating reports, following up with insurance, verifying insurance, collecting unpaid balances, etc. - OR - You can spend your time focusing on what you do best. Billing companies bill their clients in different ways.
