Stop what you're doing and go here. I'm not even out of the parking lot and I had to write this review and I never write reviews. I got the chorizo con huevos and took one bite and was back living in Spain. That is the best chorizo I've had outside of Spain no doubt, and I try it everywhere I see it. The fresh squeezed orange juice was on point. Probably the best OJ I've ever had. Staff was so kind and friendly. I'll definitely be back. You're truly making a mistake if you don't go here!!! I loved having breakfast here we had had a bad experience before coming here and we are not from Nevada we were visiting from California and we were not having luck that morning and the people working here at Villa Basque CAFE were awesome! They served us all 10 of us when they were getting ready to close for the day! Which is what I feel customer service at its best and going the extra mile !

Excellent chorizo.. went for lunch.. told the staff we'd never been there before and they immediately brought us a sample of their chorizo.. it was excellent..
I had the chorizo sandwich and BabyGrrl had the Sheepheerd burger..
the chorizo sandwich was just grilled sausage on a soft roll with peppers.. that's all it really needed.. great..
BabyGrrl ate her whole burger.. we were both surprised.. she usually manages half and then a to go box..
both sandwiches came with handcut fries which I really appreciate.. they're the best..
can't wait to go back for breakfast..

The food here knocked my socks off! It was delicious!!!!!! Not to miss is the homemade gravy - unlike any other and good enough to drink! It can be added to any dish. Ordered a veggie omelette with their famous chorizo. Veggies were cooked till tender, eggs were fluffy and the chorizo was the flavorful but not greasy. I usually don’t order chorizo as it is usually overly wet with grease - ordered it as I was told this was a dry chorizo. Yep! It was super yummy!!!! My favorite breakfast place! I order the chile relleno stuffed with chorizo and 3 over medium eggs on top, almost every time I go here, hower, the chicken fried steak is not to be missed either!!! Try each one! My wife has had the burgers which was delicious. Villa Basque is know for the homemade chorizo too, which you can purchase individually. I wish had pictures to show you but I always forget to take them. :-(

Gayle and I recently stopped into Villa Basque for Lunch. We knew that the place was good upon walking in the door when we encountered a large table of Cops thoroughly enjoying their meal. Villa Basque also throws off a friendly neighborhood vibe that we both found very inviting.

We already know the chicken fries steak is life changing good here, but what I found out is that fantastic gravy is available to go in 8, 16 and 32 oz. sizes for $5, $10 and $20 respectively. Sounds sort of expensive, but you can't get gravy this good anywhere else, and hey, life's worth livin' right? The gravy goes super good on everything from home fries, French fries, and even hamburger patties! It freezes fine, thaw and heat slow and stir to restore the creamy texture. Villa Basque, Pete, & his longtime crew are the gems of Carson City. For the past 15 years when we're in the Tahoe region we plan a day or two to drive to Carson City to enjoy some delicious Basque breakfast, brunch or lunch. We've had a majority of the menu. It's all been fresh, tasty & quality food.
Last time we both ordered the pork fried steak, perfectly crisp. The potatoes, the gravy... Delicious! The fresh pressed carrot juice was so refreshing.

When in Carson City stop here for bfast or lunch. A locally owned restaurant with a varied menu and wonderful hospitality. We enjoyed Basque Burrito and Basque Chorizo con Huevos, strong coffee and fresh squeezed grapefruit juice. The kitchen had the order prefect and very quick. Piping hot and delicious. A whole fat chorizo was buried under cheese, eggs and tangy sauce and came with rice / beans. The burrito was plenty for two! Friendly and efficient staff.
There is a gift shop for take home items like chorizo in multiple sized packages that is made on-site!

Pete's freshly made in house Chorizo is super famous and well known for hundreds of miles throughout that part of Nevada that isn't Las Vegas and it's environs.

Wow! This place is a treasure. Don't let the lack of esthetics outside fool you. The food is absolutely delicious. The menu caters for all day breakfast and lunch. The staff is friendly and consistently checked in on us. They are well known for their chorizo and boy do they live up to it. The best part is that you can take home chorizo, they sell styrophome coolers for you to be able to pack as much as you want. I am so happy to have found this place and would totally recommend it to any visitors.

Villas Basque Cafe in Carson City is one of those places. They are reknown through the region not just for the Best Hot or Mild Basque Chorizo, but also for the excellent food in the restaurant. For example, if you try the biscuits and gravy with hot chorizo, you might get addicted. #addicted
This time I was down for the Chicken Fried Steak. Ordered with two eggs over easy, home fries, english muffins and a side of spicy Basque chorizo. Drizzled some @cholulahotsauce over and went

This place was a breath of fresh air. Literally. My brother dragged us into a smoky casino breakfast place and our women rebelled. So I searched legit places to eat in Carson City and found this place.
We loved it. Everyone’s food was excellent. And that an accomplish when 8 people are ordering different items.
The atmosphere was welcoming like a friends house.
My brother lived in Spain for 8 years so we purchased delicious Spanish Pamplona Chorizo from the deli case.
