15,000 + miles between oil changes, really? When your BMW was covered under a maintenance plan and BMW was paying for your oil changes, this was great for them, but not for your BMW. In a perfect environment, this interval might be ok. If you factor in humidity, varying temperatures (especially in New England), and different driving styles, your oil will certainly start to develop sludge and lose its lubricating ability.
Carbon buildup is very common on the Turbo Charged N54 N20 N26 BMW motors found in the 135, 335, 535, X5 and X3. The buildup is usually significant by 50,000 miles. Carbon cleaning is done by literally blasting the intake valves with fine walnut shells through the use of a special adapter. Once intake valves and runners are cleaned, what will you end up feeling in the driver's seat?

Been taking my 2 Minis here for a couple years now. Will never go back to the dealership and put up with the service salesman try and sell me on parts that I don’t need during an routine oil change. Example, Dealer wanted to sell me a new tie Rod cause it was supposedly “froze” and they couldn’t adjust it. NSMW hit it with a torch and image that, it adjustable again.

We have been going to N.S. Motor Werks for about 8 years now, give or take a few and we have never brought our BMW anywhere else. James and his team have always gone above and beyond with their service. Friendly and professional are 2 words I think of when we need to go there for service. Our car is always done when promised and you can tell extra care has gone into our repair. The car always feels better after they do a tune up and we never feel they have done anything we didn't know about beforehand. There are several BMW shops that are much closer to my house, but I chose to go here because they actually responded to my emails and phone calls. That seems like such a basic request, but the fact that the owner took the time to talk with me about my car made me confident they would service my car correctly, and they did.
As a bonus, they had a loaner car for me to use, which most independent shops don't offer.

Completed B Service for my Mercedes Benz. They were very knowledgeable from the phone call to the actual completion of the work.
While other shops needed time to look up what B Service included & come up with a price, North Shore Motor Werks had a price list already posted, knew what services B Service included & were able to confirm it from the first contact.
By the way, on average the price is half of that of the Dealership.
