Having visited more than 30 countries on 5 continents, Al and Vicki Scheck have enjoyed a long love affair with travel, both personally and in their past corporate work. Al directed the global travel program for a Fortune 1000 company, and Vicki provided travel and event planning for an international Fortune 500 firm, where attention to detail was paramount.

As a former interior designer, and later a set designer for television commercials that aired across the U.S. and Canada, hotels are a particular passion for Vicki Scheck. I can't say enough about my travel agent Vicki at ScheckTrek Travel! I wanted to have a special family trip before my older son left for college this summer. Vicki suggested Ireland. It's not a place I would have thought of going to and our whole family is so glad she suggested it! Vicki is very easy to work with, quick to respond to questions, provided suggestions of places to visit and sought our input every step of the way, and most importantly worked very hard to stay within the budget we provided. She sent a bon voyage gift package along with the whole itinerary with every step

I found ScheckTrek Travel through Yelp! when I started to panic about finding the perfect place for our honeymoon that still fit within our budget. My fiance and I tried to research different honeymoon locations on our own, but there were so many places to go, hotels to stay at, flights to book, excursions to plan... the options were endless and we ended up more confused than when we started.

Vicki and her team are awesome! It is evident that she loves what she does and cares about her customers. I had the pleasure of working with Vicki on arranging travel for a wedding in Jamaica. My husband and I will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary in October, so we wanted to take a special trip this summer with our teen aged sons to celebrate. I can not thank Vicki enough for arranging such a special cruise for my wife's birthday. There were 23 of us in all at the end and we all had a great time. She did not only help with the cruise arrangements, but she helped set up a party on the ship and all the amenities. Can you say Travel agent and party planner in one?!?!?! She was also great in keeping the group and I informed about status on payments, tips for excursions, helpful tips about getting ready and everything. There wasn't a thing she missed. I've never used a travel agent before, but Schecktrek has been a first-class experience from beginning to... I can't say "end", because Vicki continues to treat us as valued clients two months after we have returned from our cruise. Her enthusiasm is contagious and her vacation tips, suggestions, and reminders made our trip hassle-free and very enjoyable. She is very personable and knows her way around the travel business. She persistently worked on the cruise line to get us a stateroom upgrade and additional shipboard credits after our vacation was already paid in full.

In October of 2011, three friends and I used ScheckTrek Travel to procure lodging for a five-day safari in Masai Mara, Kenya. They helped us find and choose two incredible camps, and also took care of the logistics of traveling from one to the other as well as finding flights to and from the Mara. They even found restaurants for the four of us to visit during our layovers in Nairobi.
Incredibly friendly, helpful beyond the call of duty, and personally involved before, during and after our trip. Can't recommend ScheckTrek enough!

I used ScheckTrek Travel for a business trip to New York. They were able to get me a hotel rate that was $39 less than the negotiated rate for the trade show I was attending. When I checked in, the clerk said, "I see you've requested a recently renovated room." I hadn't, but ScheckTrek had asked them to take good care of me. Most important, on the day I was to fly home, I was too sick to travel. I made one call to the agency, and they handled not only extending my stay at the hotel, but changing the flight as well - even though I hadn't originally booked the flight through

Two of our closest friends decided to have their wedding in Maui this year. We were definitely up for the adventure. We searched for the best travel agent & ended up choosing ScheckTrek Travel out of Los Angeles.
Vicki and Al were so thorough & provided us with the best info about Maui. They even gave me driving distances to/from various points on the island.
