The first time I took my vacuum in, it was serviced within a week, and I got my vacuum back working as expected. 2 months later, I ordered/installed a new powerhead. I do not assume this malfunction was a result of bad service; it was just its time to be replaced. It then worked as expected for over a year. Recently, this Dyson, was not locking upright. Those of you who own this type know that if the mechanism won't lock upright, nothing will function as expected. I took my vacuum back to Ariel, expecting the same service I received the first time.

I needed several parts for an old vacuum Powerhead ( belt, light and one more integral part). I emailed a photo of the unit and Kevin got back to me right away saying it was in stock and I could pick it up anytime. I did. They were the correct parts for a very reasonable price. It pays to check local before looking for everything on line right away. I highly recommend Ariel Vac & Sew and will definitely look to them first with any other vacuum cleaner needs.
