Services
Brito Family Dental is a single privately owned, non-corporate, modern family dental office operated by Dr. Andy Brito. What is the benefit of receiving care from Dr. Brito at his office, as opposed to a corporate dental office? There is no revolving door of temporary non-skilled dentists that are only there for a short period of time to make a paycheck.
Tooth grinding or bruxism is a severe problem for many people. It can lead to many negative effects, including excessive wear of your teeth, cracked teeth, infections due to severe fractures of the teeth, headaches, tooth pain, and jaw pain. Many times, if excessive grinding is not caught early, it can lead to the need for many crowns, loss of teeth, and a full mouth reconstruction.
Dental fillings help fix teeth that have decay or cavities back to their normal function and appearance. Dr. Brito can also use bonding or white composite resin fillings to slightly alter the shape and color of your teeth. There are two types of fillings: white composite or resin-bonded fillings, and amalgam or metal fillings.
When the hole from a cavity or previous root canal treatment is too big for just a filling, a crown is indicated. Sometimes teeth with large fillings, especially large metal/ amalgam fillings, require crowns because the filling material acts likes a wedge and causes the tooth to break in a non-salvageable way.
Teeth can become infected by cavities and decay or traumatized by an accident. Inside the center of each tooth there is a nerve. When the nerve dies or becomes infected, this can result in a very painful infection, sometimes swelling, and tooth pain. When a tooth gets in this condition, it either has to be removed or have root canal treatment performed to clear the infection.

Brito Dental is the best dental office in Boston. I am so afraid of going to the dentist but after I met Brito Dental Team I feel that I'm at home. They just the greatest. They treat you with so much loyalty that is unbelievable.
Me and my Husband are so happy that we found them. One of the TOP stars around the Boston Area. They also have a strong fact is that they speak Portuguese if anyone is afraid of the language barrier.
I am so Happy to say: I love coming in to visit all of you!!
Thanks for the friendship and for treating us so good.
You guys are the B E S T. Thank you!

Brito Family Dental is without a doubt the best dental experience I’ve had! The staff is extremely friendly and treats everyone like family. The facility is extremely clean and welcoming. I had a cleaning done along with a whitening treatment and was fully informed about everything they were doing along with steps to take after to assure a smooth process start to finish. I would highly recommend this office to anyone.

I knew in my gut that something was wrong when he jabbed the novocaine needle straight into a nerve with the pain going up through my nose into my head. As if that weren't bad enough, when it came time for the permanent crown it was not cleaned out properly and I got a terrible infection after only 2 months that left me close to sepsis. The trauma not only caused shingles in that same nerve path as the jabbing but also caused Bells Palsy on that side of my face which has still not fully recovered. My eye drooped so badly I had to have plastic surgery. Months of trauma and huge expenses from

I had an awful experience. A year ago I would have recommended this place to anyone, but now I can't. The staff is ok but Joyce, the hygienist, did a horrible job and when I tried to ask a question she scolded me. I understand hygienists are trained to clean your teeth, but on my day off I don't want to be scolded.
I should have said something but don't like confrontation, plus she was a bit rude and not classy - maybe having a bad day. Even if you only have an associate degree, you can be courteous to your patients. I will be canceling my follow up because it was uncomfortable.

I absolutely hate going to the dentist! I have never had an "enjoyable" pain-free experience (I have only had 3 cavities my whole life!), which caused me to let a long time lapse between appointments (10+ years! Yikes!). A temporary cap that I have had since I was fourteen ( 30 years ago!) was starting to come loose, and I knew I had to make an appointment. I did a lot of research, read a lot of reviews, of a lot of dentists, until I found Dr. Brito. I got an appointment very quickly. I also received an email from Dr. Brito before my appointment, easing my fears. From start to finish,

They are a very laid back, welcoming, and friendly group! Greeting you with a smile when you walk in and have a great attitude. Very clean and you can tell it was just redone. I went there for a teeth cleaning and was out in less than 30 minutes because they are so efficient. Happy to make him my dentist for every check up!
