We scheduled a ride to pick us up from the airport. Not only was the cab 45 minutes late, but we watched our cab drive past us, and pick up three other people without asking their names first. When I dialed the driver directly (who was still within earshot of me) he answered, pulled over, and acknowledged that he picked up the wrong people. He kept me on the line while he called dispatch, who told him to just keep going?? And then he promptly hung up on me before driving off! That was the cherry on top. I understand being short staffed and behind, but not being able to pick people up on a scheduled ride, not once but 4 times, or being curtious to the customer and giving them a call is kind of ridiculous. I would of Givin a better review if I would of atleast got a call saying they were behind instead of letting me wait. Time to switch to uber though I hate using non local company's.will no longer get my money. This is my first 1 star review

Horrible experience trying to pre-schedule a pick up. Very unreliable trying to schedule ahead. Despite having email confirmation followed by a follow up telephone call confirmation twice, they simply bother not to show up. Then they sent a driver who blew us off for another fare. Do not expect to get picked up despite having a confirmation. The problem in this town is having so few options which allows this kind of behavior to stay in business.

This is the second time they said they will be there and they are not. The first time they charge us for it after they were 30 minutes late. This time they told us that we where over reacting because the cab was not there after 3 minutes... then the dispatcher said... it's going to be 15 to 20 minutes... a text or phone call would have been nice. Sooooooo unprofessional...

We booked a ride to the airport, 3 days in advance, for 4:15 AM. The driver arrived 15 minutes late, through no fault of her own: the company pinged her at 4:05 when she was 22 minutes from my house, to notify her of the ride. She was friendly, clean, and polite, and ran red lights rushing to get us quickly and take us to the airport, so we have no qualms about the driver. However, her tardiness caused us to miss the checked bag cutoff time, which meant we had to completely reschedule our flight for later that day. Booked a ride 12 hours in advance for a 6:15 surgical arrival. No taxi. When I called I was told "we have no drivers and don't know when we will get one". No text, no call, nothing. I finally received a call from a driver a half hour late; I was already at my destination, thanks to a neighbor. Totally unprofessional operation. To be avoided at all costs.

Taxi's by their nature are hit or miss; it's driver dependent. If you need a ride when everyone else needs a ride you might have a wait, especially during morning hours when no one wants to be awake driving. There's also a general shortage of workers all around thanks to covid, and taxi drivers are no exception. This company is solid, tries their best and have nice vehicles. Drivers obtain a permit, go through a DMV & background check and have training. Dispatchers are friendly and communicate effectively.

Easy to book a taxi for future use but terrible for action. I need a taxi for an early morning doctors appointment. I have used Oregon TAXI before so therefore all of my personal information was already in the system. Almost immediately after booking the taxi I received a text confirmation that my TAXI post to be at my house for a 7 AM departure. At 6:55 I would outside to wait for the taxi. At 705 no TAXI. I called And was put on hold At 7:10 whenever the operator came back online I canceled the TAXI and found other transportation to my appointment. Needless to say I was late for the appointment

I work with memory care at me facility and have been waiting for a taxi for 1 1/2 hours that was supposed to be an ASAP pick up. I called dispatch after an hour of waiting and they told me that they are waiting for someone to pick up the call. The driver seemed irritated, not at us but at dispatch. This is not the first time I have been disappointed. Yesterday morning I had to take another resident, by these guys, to a PT appointment. No idea why there are only two stars for Oregon Taxi. I've used them four times while in Eugene and another friend has used them twice. The dispatchers are courteous, and friendly, the drivers are prompt, and willing to talk about anything Oregon / Eugene, they send texts confirming that your car is coming. Other taxis in town haven't answered or returned calls. I'm more than satisfied with Oregon Taxi and my friend has been more than satisfied with them. Prices are completely fair as well. Five Stars.

When you call 3 hours in advance and set up a pick up time, then call again 30 min before pick up to ensure said pick up is ready. Then you call to check in just to find out nobody is coming to get you and it's 12:15 AM

I've had to use Oregon Taxi twice to and from medical appointments when my illness made it impossible to even drive my own car. Each time (two very different drivers), the drivers appeared on time, and got me to my appointments on time. They gave me the help I needed, with patience, to get in and out of the cab and deal with my assistive devices. I had two very different drivers, but each, in his own way, had a very professional personality and very pleasant demeanor. *the several times that my disabled husband has needed a cab via ride source, the dispatcher has been rude to him. my husband uses oxygen due to copd and asthma. he also uses a cane/walking stick for balance. theres times that my husband is a little slow because of his health issues due to his breathing problems and he had to call dispatch for a 15-20 min later pick up time due to an asthma attack. the dispatcher is often rude and disrespectful to him. saying "I cant keep having you change the time of your pick up you need to call the night before if you are gonna be running late." please

Totally fed up with Oregon Taxi. From now on Uber and Lyft, even if it costs a little more. Yeah...I'm that fed up with deception, sleaze, stinking drivers, and late pick-ups.
And don't reply with a bogus "free Oregon Taxi card with a credit" for prior poor experiences because the driver doesn't seem to know how to run a Oregon Taxi card with a credit. As a matter of fact I have encountered drivers who don't even know how to run a simple Visa card....read on...

Very happy with Oregon Taxi as they always seem to pick me up and get me home pretty quick depending on how much business is going on in Eugene. My experience has been a good one since they also work with Oregon health plan in such an excellent way. I highly recommend giving them a call when you need a ride home and remember if you've been having a good time out drinking make sure you take a taxi home and if you're going to take a taxi call Oregon Taxi

I always had used Oregon Taxi until they forgot to come to my home to take us to the Airport. I called the night before at 7:27 pm ordering a Cab for 6:30 am on September 26, 2018. I thought by calling the night before I would give them plenty of notice that we needed the Cab to take us to the Airport. Well at 6:40 am NO CAB. I called and they realized they forgot to send a cab. They kept me on hold trying to figure out what happened. She said I can have one there in 10 minutes. By this time we did not want to be late for our plane, so we grabbed our keys and drove ourselves to the Airport

Usually on time. Clean cabs. Mostly decent drivers. Take the quickest route MOST of the time. Reasonable prices. Short wait times. More dependable than most.
Cons:
The app and web bookings never work.
Dispatch never tells the driver the name of the business or building you are going to.
Sometimes you get shady drivers that charge you double.
Sometimes you get drivers with a bad attitude.
Sometimes you get drivers that take the long way.
They will not pick up at the location of any UO event, (Autzen Stadium, Matthew Knight Arena...) even though they have
