Thompson Funeral Chapel is conveniently located on Litchfield Road just south of I-10 in Goodyear, AZ. Our facility serves as your all-inclusive arrangement center. We have relationships with several venues throughout the Valley where you can hold a funeral or memorial event, or we can arrange it at the venue of your choice.
As part of our 50th anniversary celebration and remodeling, we built a remembrance garden behind Thompson Funeral Chapel. As a family-oriented team, we feel it's important to have a place to go when you want to remember a loved one. We work with many families who have a burial place many miles from here or have chosen to scatter cremated remains elsewhere.

My family and I used the transport & funeral services at Thomnpson Funeral Home in late August 2021 after our mother passed away in the Goodyear area. We only wanted the best and we had used Thompson Funeral Chapel for all our family funeral needs.
The staff were friendly, compassionate, kind, and professional from start to finish. They handled everything with the sensitivity and ease needed in the difficult area of death. The day we had to come and sign off on documents, select and complete everything was very difficult. But I never felt rushed, prodded, or like it was business as usual. All

I want to thank Larry and the whole staff at Thompson Funeral Chapel for the amazing job they did. They went above and beyond for my father’s funeral service. Their quality is definitely amazing and they made sure everything was beautifully set up just how we wanted it. Even things that we thought weren’t going to be possible, Thompson Funeral Chapel made it happen. So again, thank you Larry and the staff! Everything was amazing.

Thompson Funeral Chapel help me during my hard times at the time my husband passed away on 11/08/21. My family and me were looking for a place that would meet my husband wishes and me as a wife wanted him to have the best services to say until we meet again as he was the Best Dad, Husband, and friend ever you could meet. The staff and owners at Thompson Funeral Chapel were top notch in the service they provided me and my family during our time of loss. From answering the phone on a Sunday, to sitting down with us to plan my mother's farewell, to the viewing, her funeral and the care and level of professionalism and costumer service they provided was and has been outstanding. We had a very unconventional request regarding the preparation and funeral for our mother that required us to travel out of state. Thompson Funeral Chapel did an exquisite job for my mother. I had concerns as an African American that my mother's make up be done appropriately. They told me not to worry, and she looked beautiful. Like she was beautifully sleeping.
They helped us with planning and so many other things. I can't say enough what a great experience I had at such a difficult time.

Thompson Funeral Chapel, was recommended to me by GOD Himself. I do no say this lightly. My Loved one passed away suddenly 3 hours away from home. While I wondered what to do, The Lord Spoke to me and told me to call Thompson.

Our family had a wonderful experience with Thompson. Both my sis-in-law, who is local there in AZ and myself, in TX spoke with numerous staff at different times of needing to make and finalize plans. Everyone was professional and kind. We had a joint service for both my father-in-law and mother-in-law, with family traveling from multiple states with many questions and they were gracious and helpful. I would highly recommend them. Funeral planning is difficult and emotional, they were extremely helpful.

Thompson's was the best place for my beloved Jack. They attended to every detail with professional service. The staff was courteous and very kind and caring. There was no pressure and they apprised us of every service offered; these services will be available well into the future when my life is more organized. The gentlemen who picked up my husband did so very respectfully and accommodated every need. I can highly recommend their services to anyone when the need arises. They get our highest marks.
