I would give this place zero stars if i could. i went on a friday to get my car checked out because it was making a noise. we find out we need to replace a ball joint, along with other general maintenance things. i get the ball joint and my oil changed. beware, oil change will run you close to $80! i drove off the lot and realized my steering wheel wasn't straight so they didn't align my car back after they fixed the part. why wouldn't you do that and finish the job? it gets worst. i go to drive my car on saturday and it starts making a noise. the noise grows louder until i&apos

First off, I think they are good folks. I've had a lot of work done there on my car there recently and in the past three years . Many, many thousands of dollars I have given them. They are wildly expensive! Most likely the same you would pay if you took it into the dealership. I think the parts and repair work is highly overpriced and you could do much better.
Please check around, they are going to take a lot of money out of your Credit Card and I think it's unreasonable. You might do alot better going to another place that doesn't charge their exorbitant fees for parts and labor

Since my last visit, City Garage has spun-off its oil change and State Inspection business to a separate facility located nearby it calls City Lube. Makes complete sense.
Was pleasantly surprised to learn the people who work there--both in the garage and front office just like their counterparts at City Garage--are the nicest most knowledgeable people you could ask to work on your car.
Don't know who first created this chain back in the 90s, but it's been the best addition to the independent garage scene in Dallas, ever! These guys--and this operation--are the best. They do everything

I talked to Erick on the phone and he seemed super helpful and chill, so I went to get an estimate and that was a mistake! The whole time he talked to me he was being rude, and then told me to leave my car and he would get back to me. I was already getting bad vibes and wanted to leave, but I was already there and really needed to get it done so I agreed. I waited for his call and nothing then finally the NEXT day he gets back to me and tells me to just take it to Kia to get fixed and I asked what he thought the estimate would be and he said ask Kia! Stopped by for an oil change, I asked for the cheapest one. Guy looked at me and tried to sell me a $72 oil change!!! Hahahahah. For a little Hyundai?? Out of their minds!!! Drove down the street to Josey and belt line and got my less than $30 oil change!!
I could not believe that $72 was their most economical oil change price. RIDICULOUS. I live Right next door so I was trying to save time but not with more than double the price!

I made the mistake of not shopping around and after I went to City Garage I found out that I could have gotten the same repair done for half the price with at least 4 other garages. I left a bad review on google and they asked me to call them because they wanted a chance to make it right. I called the shop several times and the manager was never in. I finally called the second name on the review, which was the VP of Operations, Chuck Howell. He said he didn't know why they told me to call him because I did not get over charged and there was nothing he could do about my dissatisfaction. There

They rotated my tires and fixed a squeaky window that has been driving me crazy. The people were nice, the work was fast, and when I went to check out the gentleman told me there is no charge!!! He just told me to come back again in the future if I need anything else. Super nice of them and made my day. I will be back!

I have been bringing "Big Mamma " here since I moved to Texas .She is a 16 yo caravan dodge who has taken me around the US .i trust no one with her care except City Garage for all my mechanical needs . This City Garage location is extraordinary! The best customer service and quality repair. Not only are they significantly cheaper than dealership service, but will get you in and out in less time. Mark and Eric are great. We've been taking our vehicles here for years -- oil and lube, alignment, engine service, etc. This is our go-to garage. Highest recommendation.

I have been going to this City Garage location for over 10 years and they do everything for me from oil changes to larger issues. Today I had a flat tire and ended up stranded at a gas station with my dog. I called knowing I would go there to get the new tire. Mark sent someone over to me and they changed the tire to my spare to help me avoid having to call a tow truck.
I am so thankful for Mark and his team and will not take my cars anywhere else!!!

I have been here a 11/2 years and still impressed with my local City Garage family. They don't nickel and dime you and are always professional and polite. The only thing that's missing is doughnuts in the lobby to go with their delicious coffee. I appreciate not having to travel far to have my car worked on. Thanks a heeep. This garage is seriously excellent. They're just really honest people who are just trying to do their best with their clients in mind. I'm a lady and going to garages makes me very nervous because cars in general make me veryyy nervous. I told them what kind of concerns I had, simple things like my car was leaking and the gas cap was stuck. It took all of 30 minutes, as I was the only one there, and the mechanic was really thorough in his explanation about what was going on and showed me what the deal was. I really loved that.

Brought my car here for an oil change recently. Got a no-bs assessment which is exactly what I needed and expect from good/ trustworthy car repair ships. The previous mechanic that did the change had tightened the oil filter cap too tight, and City Garage employees let me know right away without moving forward and breaking my Toyota's cap.
