I read a lot of positive reviews here on Yelp and other websites about Dr. Banta and this was the reason I chose Dr. Banta to be my dentist. When I finally visited her dental office everything seemed OK. Then when Dr. Banta worked on my teeth, she asked certain questions that no other dentist had ever asked about my teeth. It was as if Dr. Banta was telling me all her patients come in to see her with perfect mouth/teeth. I didn't care for this. Maybe I shouldn't have made my decision to go to Dr. Banta simply by reading the favorable reviews.

I've been to a lot of dentist in my life. Good and bad. Dr.Banta is definitely one of the good ones. She is very gentle when she's freezing your mouth. She tells you everything she's doing. And she does an excellent job. Like dentists I've been to recently she does not try to sell you on work you do not need. I would definitely recommend her.

Going to Dr. Banta has the best dental experience I've ever had, if I could give her more stars, I would. My teeth had gotten into bad shape, but I'd been afraid to go to a dentist. Dr. Banta (and everyone at her office) was really great at dealing with my fearfulness. She was gentle and kind, explained everything clearly, let me keep deciding what work I agreed to, proceeding at a pace that I could handle. I went from phobic to excited about my new smile, and how great my teeth could look. I had to show my family and friends with before and after pictures. They were all wowed at the improvement

I am a new patient of Dr. Banta's and was very impressed with her office. The office is beautiful and more importantly her staff is very friendly and professional. I know most of us do not like going to the dentist but they made it easy do to their soft and caring touch.

Oh my god!!!! This is the first dentist in 30 yearS, that actually made me smile and "she listened!" She repaired my chipped up front teeth and made them look awesome!
I spent "30" years with another dentist, only to walk away with receding gums and a less than attractive smile!
After "one" visit with Dr. Jayne McKay...an artist/sculptor)...I walked away with front teeth that look beautiful!

Sometimes I forget Dr. Banta is a Dentist not a farmer because she does so well with "chickens"! From the minute you walk in the door of her office, the mood is set for a welcoming and relaxing experience. Dr. Banta is patient, understanding and respectful of the decisions you make in regards to your teeth. Her team follows up diligently and works hard to find days/times that will work for all schedules. Nothing less than 5 Stars would reflect Dr. Gilda Banta and her staff.

My family and I love Dr Banta and Dr McKay, their service is exceptional. I felt like the Dr. really took the time to check my habits and dental hygine answering even "silly" questions of my flossing that usually other people wouldnt take the time to explain.
We dont go to any other destist since we met Dr Gilda about a year ago. Love also the relaxing view to the park, the environment is calm and welcoming. Highly recommend.

A dental office that actually cares. It's been many years since I've been to a dentist (fears from childhood). Wonderful, friendly staff. Dr. McKay made me feel so at ease before and after extracting a bad tooth. And both Dr. McKay and Dr. Banta took the time to followup and ask how I'm doing. Awesome! I wish they were around 40 years ago.

I have been seeing Dr. Mc Kay for over a year and a half now it has been nothing but excellent service from her and staff at the office. Usually if an emergency happens she is able to see me that day. I love their building it's structure is very unique looking and in a great location at the corner of Edinger and Waikiki street. I have not used Dr. Banta for any dental work yet but she is very nice and joyful to talk to. I am so happy I choose them for all my dental work I would not have any other...

This was my first visit to Gilda Banta, DDS and I will be going back with my family. They got me in on very short notice, and I was out of there with a completely repaired tooth for a beyond reasonable price! Really great work too. Best dentist ever! We are 3 generations of families who have been so grateful for Dr. Banta’s kindness, flexibility, precision, and generosity. For example, another dentist made me a mouth guard that chipped my tooth when I was out of state, and she immediately got me in, fixed my tooth, fixed the mouth guard too! a serious dream come true. I met with Dr. Banta for the first time this past week. I picked this dentist office based on the reviews and wow it definitely exceeded my expectations! Front desk employees were extremely accommodating and welcoming. Dr. Banta was amazing, you could tell she really cared and wanted the best for you as a patient. She put my personal dental habits in a perspective I hadn't thought about before and I loved that. Would HIGHLY recommend.

I've been going to D. Banta since 2008 and I absolutely love her. The way she works is super careful and super light. I don't even feel when she is administering the anesthesia is so effortless. I often joke that when I go to the dentist is my spa time, well I do actually relax to the point of napping.

I have been taking my whole family to Dr. Banta now for a few years. Professional, gentle, very friendly, proactive suggestions/recommendations but never "salesy". I'm very confident we are getting quality care.
I referred a co-worker here a year ago that was generally petrified of the dentist. She is happy, still going and not scared to go.

The level of care in this office is clearly indicative of Doctors who take great levels of pride in their patients. Every visit is educational and every staff member is knowledgeable and above informative when I ask in depth questions. I appreciate the honest and extensive answers usually followed by efficient plans of action if/when needed.

Gilda and her staff and very welcoming and attentive! There is always a warm welcome and quick service. If you ever need service we're need to be numbed she is the dentist for it, never have I felt a more painless method for getting that done right. These are the simplest quickest and most painless dental procedures I have experienced in a long time!

Dr. Banta and her staff are all top notch professionals. I've been seeing them for over 10 years now. I used to have a fear of the dental chair until I met them. Their kindness, professionalism and courtesy to always put me first blows me away. Their facilities are always clean and she uses the most state of the art equipment.
