PromiseLand Winery is a family-run operation, located in the Southern hills of Guttenberg, IA, on the Great River Road. Owners, Pat and Cindy Wachendorf, offer a one-of-a-kind experience, that will make you feel right at home. Inside the winery, you will find a spacious tasting room, an event room that can be used for small to medium-sized parties, and six boutiques that will fulfill your shopping needs!

We offer a variety of both red and white, from sweet to dry. Wine tastings are always available, and our friendly staff is happy to help you find the perfect wine to satisfy your taste buds. We continue to add new flavors, and many of our beloved favorites are here to stay.' Semi-sweet red wine made from our Iowa Marechal Foch and St. Croix grapes.

Beautiful place! Had a great time with friends from Kansas. They were set up for a next day wedding and it was amazing! My daughter is to be married next year and I could imagine hosting it here! Stunning landscaping in back, very unique interior! Little quaint shops indoors! If you are looking for anything wedding or honeymoon you can pick it up at the shops and many seasonal decor items! We will be looking into this place for a possible wedding venue!

Often when we go to a winery, there are one or two we don't care for at all, BUT all four of us agreed that there wasn't a single wine we didn't like. They were all amazing. And the peach wine was INCREDIBLE. Discounts available for larger purchases. They also had a gluten free pizza option, which I was very thankful for. The back area is landscaped beautifully with a gorgeous waterfall that really added to the ambiance. And there are even little shops inside. We will be back!
