Eagles Landing Winery
Eagles Landing Winery is a small family owned business located in northeast Iowa in downtown Marquette. We are nestled in the breathtaking rolling hills along the Mississippi River next to the Great River Road. 15 miles from Wyalusing State Park in Wisconsin. Our wines can be found at over 150 locations in Iowa and Wisconsin. We are Pet Friendly in the Wine Garden.
Services
Free wine tasting is offered daily 10 a.m through 5 p.m. in our tasting room and gift shop. We are currently producing 36 unique wines, everything from dry wines to sweet dessert wines. We have as many as two dozen wines in stock at any given time for you to sample. We also offer seasonal wines which are produced in smaller batches.
A blend of Marquette and Syrah grapes. A tribute to a man outstanding in his field. Roger, our Dad, loved his vineyard and it seemed appropriate we dedicate this dry red wine in his memory. Serve with blue cheese burgers or barbecue. This is the first release of our Petite Pearl grapes that were planted in 2014 in Dad's memory.

We had the best time listens to the music! The wines were great. I am very picky and most Iowa wines do not fit the bill. My husband and I both left with two bottles each of dry wines and sweet!

We stopped in this weekend on November 27th during my birthday weekend trip. Unfortunately we did not get the name of the lady that helped us but she was absolutely amazing. Neither of us know much about wine but she helped us find three bottles we wanted to buy. Absolutely wonderful employee, wonderful experience and wonderful wine.

This place has some amazing wines. The owner, Cindy, did the tasting for us and she was very informative about the wines and gave great suggestions. They have an indoor room or outside area where you can enjoy a glass or 2 of wine or a frozen drink along with local cheeses. Don't miss this place! It's a gem... btw... I bought a case of their wine do you know I liked it

An awesome Winery located here in Marquette, Iowa. Free wine tasting, excellent selection of wine, and all of them have their own flavors. You get to pick 3 wines to taste test for free in a small wine glass. They have a nice selection from dry wines all the way to dessert wines.

Tasting room is always busy. But great customer service is always here. Lots of fruit wines. Sampling is done in glasses which is a plus. Buy a bottle and split with a friend and sit outside.

Cute little winery and shop! We enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting (select 3). A must stop if you are in the area. Thereā€™s a nice outdoor area to enjoy live music (when scheduled) and enjoy your fav wine. I loved the Carmel Apple wine and Peach Bellini slushy!!!! I had buy one of the cute ladies T-shirts that says ā€œDonā€™t mooch my hoochā€!!!

We made a special trip to experience a tasting while we were on a business trip to this area.
I wish we lived closer because this is a first class winery with a broad selection for any taste of wine drinkers. I can understand why Eagles Landing won Winery of the year in 2018.
We were privileged to visit when we got personal service and tastings along with the winemaker, Jay.
I hope others appreciate what a find this winery is. One can rarely find wines of this variety and quality at really reasonable prices!!

Super friendly girls at the counter. We got to try 5 wines for free. Came home with six bottles. Campfire Hooch is my favorite. Next time we go there I'm buying a case of that alone!

Nice little winery. Very friendly staff, cute wine related items for sale and a nice small selection of good wines. I like a good sweet red, their sweet dessert wines are delicious. Only downfall, space is kinda tight for the wine tasting when there is more than a handful of people in the facility.

We could not get enough of their wine. It was so good, I sincerely wish I could have tasted more. I wanted to buy everything I tasted. The outdoor area is gorgeous too. Grab some wine or a wine slushy and relax for a while! Oh! Grab some of the popcorn too! The white cheddar jalapeƱo is to die for! (Extra parking is available around back.)

Went down a couple weeks ago for live music on the patio. If you go for music, they do not serve food BUT its a free-for-all of carry-ins. One table of guests who'd obviously been there before brought a cooler and unloaded a 5 course picnic. We looked like newbies because everyone else brought food. Noted for next time!
I liked some wines and others I didn't but that's what a tasting is for. The free tasting is 5 wines but once you spend some money no one batted an eye when I asked to try others. Sort of an odd location, its in town. No grape fields around or anything like that but

I had heard about Eagles Landing for years because of recommendations from my friends and finally got a chance to try it out for myself--and boy oh boy this place did not disappoint!

Walking into this winery was like walking into an old friends house, we were greeted by a friendly staff and (since it was my first time) they gave me a run down on the tastings (and they were FREE, might I add!) They had two menus--one laminated with an in depth description of each wine and a nice little short one sorted by style (dry, sweet, etc) which also had a nice little check box you could mark each time you

Most spectacular part of Eagle's Landing is the hand-built house using huge exposed beams fitted only with joints and pegs (no nails in the building). The great room is beautiful to look at (3 story ceiling with trusses especially) and the wall of windows faces East. You're rignt on the bank of the Mississippi. On the other side of the house is the Canadian Pacific Railway!!! So, if this is a problem, don't stay here. However, I enjoyed being treated to a by-gone era when trains and their whistles blew by in the night. Other bonuses: Four-course breakfast by a real chef, free bottle

Without a doubt one of my all-time favorite wineries!! We stop every single time we're in town visiting my sister, and we always have an excellent experience!
Big Red used to be my go-to wine, but this last time I tried the Blues Fest and loved it just as much! I prefer sweeter wines, and can find just as much of a mix that I would buy (and usually do) as my boyfriend whom drinks mostly dry red wines. Campfire Hootch is also a great one to try, as most of them are-and they are always willing to explain types and differences, and make suggestions!
If you stop on a day that Cindy, one is

Hubby and I took my Grandmother to Eagles Landing Winery and had a lovely time sitting outside sipping wine.

The winery was very busy (14+ people) and only one person working. The owner (I assume) was not very polite. He did not take the time to explain the wines and what was in them. Had to ask several times for a tasting only to be ignored. Limited to 5 tasting and could not pay extra for more, nor could you buy wine by the glass. The winery had a ton of excellent wines. We did end up buying 4 bottles which were gone within a week. Too bad we live in Texas! They did have a great outside area

We were camping at Pikes Peak State Park and decided to check out the local winery and am very glad we did. It is very cute and the woman who was serving us was very friendly and knowledgeable. After trying 10 different wines we ended up buying three bottles of Campfire Hootch. It is soooo yummy. I love wine and I drink alot of it so I should know. It happened to be the last one I tried and it was so good I actually got a little tear in my eye! Maybe I was just drunk by that point but either way its well worth the stop in to Eagles Landing Winery.

Quite a surprising find on the west bank of the Mississippi. We tried a number of wines: Summer Blush, made from the local Frontenac Gris, was very good, lovely amber color, hints of apricot, stone fruit, pineapple; Strawberry Fest, made from strawberry juice, tastes exactly as advertised.

Eagle's Landing is part B&B, part local winery.

The location of the B&B is phenomenal. You are wedged between the scenic bluffs and the majestic Mississippi River. You are literally right on the river directly adjacent to the bridge connecting to Prairie Du Chien, WI. It's quiet there are great views right out over the river.

The proprietors are a very kind older couple who know the area like the backs of their hands. They were exceptionally helpful in aiding us with local recommendations and ideas. Ms. Halvorson is also an exceptional cook and the breakfasts here are
