One of our dental hygienists, Barbara has been caring for patients with this practice since 2001. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland's Dental Hygiene program. Barbara has extensive experience working with patients of all ages and has a passion for children and our senior citizens. She works hard to ensure that all patients have a great dental experience while in her care.
Dr. Rhodes is part of a Hunt Valley tradition of comfort and care. He is a 1979 graduate of the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and a past Associate Professor of Clinical Dentistry at the University of Buffalo. He has dedicated his professional career to providing you with the best that dentistry has to offer.
Dr. Thomas Rhodes has also participated with the Maryland Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped Donated Dental Services giving over $15,000 in free care to those in need, last year. In 2012, Dr. Thomas Rhodes also went on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic for 10 days with the Smiles for Hope.

Called yesterday at almost closing and the lady that answered the phone couldn’t have been more help. Not from the area and needed to get in ASAP. She got me in today, office was great and everyone in the office was helpful and extremely nice. The work that was done was great and I was in and out. 10/10 would recommend, and come again.

Dr. Rhodes is an excellent dentist. He has been doing dental work on my teeth for over 15 years. His expertise in dentistry is phenomenal. He is very gentle with his work. He has state-of-the-art equipment. He is a very nice and respectful person. His staff are great people who welcome a very friendly and fun atmosphere. I would recommend him to be your dentist. He is the best.

A part of a filling/crown fell out of my mouth last week........not knowing Dr. Rhodes or his practice, I walked in (no appointment) with my broken tooth and asked if they could help me. At the front desk, Barbara welcomed me and got me settled in. Dr. Rhodes and his assistant Melissa were able to see me very quickly and assess my situation. I was back within 2 days for them to fix my tooth and build a new crown. I have TERRIBLE anxiety at the dentist. Dr. Rhodes and Melissa paid such close attention to my physical and mental comfort during my procedure, gave me guidance and space when I needed

Pleasantly surprised is an understatement! I've spent some time in different dentist's offices, and Dr. Rhodes and his staff are absolutely amazing. I won't go anywhere else after this. I'm so happy to be able to say I just experienced a nearly pain free root canal! I never thought I'd be able to honestly say that! If there were six stars Hunt Valley Dental would have them from me. Highly recommend. Especially for folks who might have anxiety from bad past experiences.

I am in my late 50s, and have been to a LOT of dentist offices ever since I was a child. I've hated them all, and viewed them only as one of those horrible necessities of life. Then I found this Hunt Valley Dental. The office is calm and soothing, the entire staff is friendly and extremely qualified, and for the first time in my life I actually look *forward* to going to the dentist. Doctor Rhodes actually saved some teeth that were about to break, and thanks to him, my whole mouth is in better shape than it ever has been in my entire life. I am so grateful to him and his staff. I had such bad experiences in the 60's with the dental clinic on North Avenue, it scarred me for life. Needless to say it led to some bad dental problems. While shopping in Hunt Valley I saw the dental sign that changed my life. All I can say is, I wish I had discovered Dr Rhodes earlier in life. I would highly recommend my dentist to anyone.

I've never been one to go to the dentist and I've been to a few during my adult life with not so good service. I had and emergency and called Hunt Valley Dental, Dr. Rhodes personally called me back and seen me right away. It was by far the most comfortable visit I ever experienced and the procedure performed was painless and effortless because of Dr. Rhodes professionalism and experience.
The staff is the best I've ever dealt with having A+ class professionalism
and courtesy.

His attention and sensitivity to patient well-being is unparalleled and redefines the experience of visiting the dentist. Dr. Rhodes takes extra time to ensure that his procedures are complete and successful. His assistant, Michelle is extremely attentive and caring.
