This is a great place to camp. No matter if you have an rv, pop up camper, or a tent it will not disappoint. Beautifully kept. The staff very helpful. Close enough to Elkins if you need an extra something but far away where the drive is pleasant.
We spent from Sunday to Wednesday by the river. It was so peaceful and quaint.
The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is the bathrooms. They were ok. I was thankful for them being in a pop up, but if you improve on them you will have a 5 star 🌟.
This campground is huge plenty of spaces and we love the new area you made by the river that was added

What a beautiful campground...wow. beautifully kept grounds with many campsites to choose from. Staff and helpers were very friendly and accommodating. River is beautiful and full of smallmouth and rock bass.
Only thing keeping it from 5 stars are that the bath and showers could use an update. They are adequate but we are a little spoiled from state park facilities...lol
Nothing to keep us from coming back and making this a regular spot for a quick 3hr get away!!!!
Thanks for the awesome experience!!!!!

My labor day plans were cancelled due to Covid.. I was told to check 5 rivers and they had space avail even at this late date.
Online booking was easy and when we arrived we were met with a very helpful woman at the gate. She had a staff member lead us to our space and assist us with parking. This was my first time in my new RV. People camped near me helped me get properly connected to power, water & sewer.
Our neighbors were all very friendly. The camp has river access, a pavilion and a well stocked store.
We had a great 3 nights camping and will most definitely return.

Best runned campground. Made reservations for next year for a week. John and Joyce are great hosts. So quiet and peaceful and not very far from Black Water Falls, Spruce Knob, Seneca Rocks, and Canaan Valley. This is the home for Pickin in Parsons Bluegrass Festival which was the best festival we have ever attended.

This is our 2nd time visiting 5 Rivers Campground and once again, we had a delightful experience. The staff is extremely helpful and every campsite is river front! We loved hanging our hammock next to the river and the firewood bundle delivered to the campsite is a great deal. The owners are very responsive and we loved that we could bring our dog for river fun as well. Cannot wait to return again. The weather is always so great here, nice and hot in the summer, but cool evenings - perfect for a fire!

I'm a full-time RVer that travels regularly. I typically stay about a month at each campground. I was at Five River Campgrounds for the month of June, and my experience there was consistently great the entire stay! The owners are friendly and extremely helpful, and the campground was well maintained. The electric, sewer, and water hookups work well, and the RV sites are reasonably level. Picture a farm with trees surrounded by mountains and a beautiful lake situated in a very small mountain town, but also with GREAT WIFI!!! For tent campers, the primitive campsites by the river are absolutely beautiful

Beautiful place! Each campsite is within a short walking distance of the river, some campsites are located right on the river. The staff was amazing and very very friendly. There was a gift shop and ice cream shop located right behind our Campsite again super super friendly workers! It’s a very family friendly/pet/kid friendly place and 1000% worth the trip. Everyone else camping in the park was really nice and we were placed beside the best neighbors you could imagine! Fire wood was easily delivered to our site, no hassle. They have WIFI and camp sections are spread apart so it isn’t overwhelmingly
