Sewing Creations has been providing the Greenville, NC, area with a large selection of fabrics, notions, and sewing machines since 2004. Current owner, Faye Tingle, purchased the business from a friend (eleven years ago) to indulge her passion for stitching and continue supporting the community's sewing needs.

Walked into store, stood there. Two men sitting near the door and a woman sitting near. Finally the woman asked her if she could help me. I stated my situation. She asked her husband if he could work on it. He was busy talking to his friend, she called his name again. He quickly replied, barely looking at it.He said since it was an older machine too many parts. I covered it up and walked out.

Over a year ago I stopped in to get some thread and was attacked because my sewing machine (I was gifted BRAND NEW) wasn't as nice as what she sells. I looked at her and said well it helps when you can afford a $2000.00 machine and others can not. She continued to argue with me about my sewing machine saying "the best thing you can do is throw that machine in the highway" and if I had not really needed the thread I would have walked out. I've never been back and myself NOR any of my other quilting friends and we will NOT shop there. We travel to Washington, Clayton, New Bern, Jacksonville and Cary

I would leave no stars if I could ! I recently relocated to this area and needed my sewing machine serviced for wig making- went in got a quote left it there to be fixed. Went to pick it up and paid and that was it. Got home to discover the on off switch on my machine was missing. So I kindly called and left them a message (they were closed at that point ) and returned the next morning . I asked about there refund policy and about getting it fixed properly only to be told they didn’t mess it up and the guy who does repairs was very rude and nasty saying I can “get the hell out the store and
