I stayed in the camper on the landing, the view from the deck was amazing! Cedar Pond is a great location to bring your four wheelers, kayaks ect. We met some awesome people there and had a great time, hoping to come back next year with the kids and grandparents!

Love this campground! Spent 3 weeks (1 wk a month) here with family. Made many friends. Grandchildren had a great time. Wiffle ball on the beach. Snow cones from Donna! Swimming in the pond and of course trail riding right from the campground. Looking forward to Labor Day weekend for one final trip this year! We stayed in cabin 8 this year. Hopefully seasonal campsite next year!

Tent camped at cedar pond last week. Average. Tent sites were small and located at the top of a steep hill. The walk from the beach to the tents was a hike up a 75 degree slope. There was also a private residence 100 feet behind our campsite so we heard music, voices and car traffic from the "woods" next to our camp.
We did get some crankiness from Ron the owner when we first checked in. He has about a dozen lengthy signs posted outside the office and woe unto you if you do not heed each warning. "Back up! Can't you see the sign?" Uh yes, along with these other 14 signs that I haven't read because

Owner is rude and not very friendly. Sites are all bunched up in one spot.
Apparently he has enough repeat customers that he does not care about new business.

My family and I stayed here for 2 nights to tent and go 4 wheeling. We enjoyed our stay. Our tent site was nice and happened to be right next to the bath house. The bath house was surprisingly clean and… comfortable! The owners were attentive and made frequent checkins at our site to see how we were doing and to make sure we were rule-abiding. They were accommodating of our large group and extra vehicles. I would stay there again.

I could right a long review about this place, but they don't even deserve any time you give them. Just avoid this place, owners are awful and crooks who will be nice until you get any money, and as soon as you ask them for anything or ask about options during your stay, they become rude and disrespectful. AVOID, don't let the good reviews of the family friends convince you to go here.

I DO NOT recommend this campground especially for young adults. Poor customer service. I was stereotyped from the moment i stepped out of my car, while checking in I'm told, mind you I'm camping with women and CHILDREN, "if i find anyone out there don't be bringing them back to my site", I chalked it up to poor humor?! Then he tells me where to have the second vehicle parked, she arrives, he changes his mind, okay fine. And i guess we weren't unpacking fast enough he comes up to check on us, it was not after 8 or quiet time. Again i felt it was distrust that we would listen to his parking instructions

DO NOT CAMP HERE!! They harass there guest and run the campground like its prison. Can't talk to people professionally, they have to speak down to you or yell. Ron walks around with his hand on his gun and makes every child there uncomfortable. Quote from there mouth's when I said the locals don't like you "Good we don't want locals here anyways"… Wow! From the start of check in I was in tears because I was told by Ron (owner) I could check in at 7 but because everyone wasn't here in our party if we weren't all there by 8 they wouldn't let us stay his words "if they don't make it where will

Stayed here for a week with our new fifth wheel while we got some work done at our house and it was AWESOME!! Owners are so great and keep up wonderful care of the campground; always making sure it’s clean and… friendly :) it may just be twenty minutes down the road but it was so nice to get out of the house, try out our new camper, and relax at a wonderful and comfortable place! The beach is very well kept, has a jumping dock in the middle for the kids, and has really good fishing spots off of the boat launch! It was sooo relaxing to sit outside and hear the loons every night rather

Beautiful campground! Well kept, nice little beach, and very hospitable owner/staff. When buying wood they bring it right to your site which is so convenient. They also supplied a little "welcoming" basket with a couple snacks, coffee, sugars and creamer which was nice! We even decided we wanted to stay an extra night and they accommodated that no problem. Definitely will be going back here, dont let the negative reviews scare you off. See for yourself how wonderful it is.

Worst experience I’ve had at a camp ground. Not only are the sites right on top of each other with no privacy, but the owner is also very rude. He drives around on his golf cart all day checking to make sure no one is “breaking his rules” and let me tell you he has a lot of them! You can’t even use the small beach unless you find him and ask permission first.

This was by far the worst experience i have had staying at a campground. the male owner is extremely rude and you walk on egg shells the entire time you are there. To pay big money for the site and be treated like a burden is unreal. not to mention i was 22 minutes late for check in and he made me my wife and two kids sleep on the side of the road… for the night because he wouldn't let us in. also had gunshots going off at 5am and 11pm the whole weekend. when we confronted him about he his response was to call the police and kicked us out at 9:30 at night. guess i will wait until he runs

Bill and I have frequented Cedar Pond campground for four years now. The place is clean, well kept, fun, near trails for riding, not to mention the hosts, Ron and Donna, who pour their hearts and souls into this place, and it shows. Ron comes around and checks on everyone, and tries to fulfill your every need. We couldn't think of going anywhere else. I hope you check it out. Family friendly park close enough to everything. Listen to the loons, sit by the fire. Thanks Ron and Donna for being our home away from home. Even birthday surprises. Erica Janosz

Owner is very rude. It used to be a friendly place where neighbors could use the beach for a nominal charge. Now they won’t let anyone who isn’t camping there use it.
