Beware of Metro Sew & Vac!
I took three sewing machines in for repair in August. One was fairly new and didn't need much done to it. Other than it being during the state fair, it didn't take long to fix. The other two were family heirlooms. One was my mother's Kenmore model 43 that she received as a wedding gift in 1957. They were not immediately repairable, but the man said he would see what he could do and call me. Because it was in August and they have a big set-up at the state fair, he told me it would be a while. When I picked up the one machine he could fix in September
