After calling to see if University Vacuum & Sewing repaired Dysons and being told that yes they do repair Dysons, my husband drove two hours to Des Moines with our vacuum.The beater bar needed to be replaced. He was told that parts were unavailable because of the age of the machine.They did not look at the machine nor plug it in and turn it on to evaluate the problem. They offered to dispose of the machine and proceeded to show him new vacuums for $1000.
My husband declined to leave the Dyson to be disposed of and brought it home, ordered the part from Amazon for $19, and within 5 minutes fixed

Fast, friendly and economical!!! I was prepared to drop my shark vacuum off be quoted a huge repair amount and never see said vacuum again due to not wanting to pay more for repairs then original cost!!! This was not the case they checked it out right away with no appointment and fixed the problem!!! Sending me and my 8 year old vacuum on our way!!! Highly recommend!!!

I am so impressed with this business. First of all they answered the phone promptly and answered all my questions. I was informed to bring my vacuum in and they would diagnose the issue and give me an expected cost. I went to a friendly environment and was approached immediately when I entered their store. Vacuum was taken to the back and my issue was fixed in minutes at a fair price. I couldn't ask for anything more.

I hate I didn’t get his name but I came in today to buy an Elna sewing machine and the gentlemen who helped me was very friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. He even gave me a demonstration and set me up with some free supplies to get me started. One of the best customer service experiences I’ve had and I was only there about 15 minutes
