Maitland & English Law Firm, PLLC was founded by Rob Maitland. Our law firm's attorneys are University of North Carolina graduates, committed Tar Heels fans, and local community boosters. We are volunteers on committees and local boards for a number of community and non-profit organizations and believe in giving back with our time and energy.

Rob Maitland overcharged me excessively for last minute changes during a closing that he did not prepare the paperwork on time. He was sarcastic and rude. Avoid like a plague. Take your business elsewhere. No stars for you. This was in 2005. Computers existed back then even if you were not in the Digital age. Looks like nothing changed since, still dismissive rather than listening. Number one rule is customer is always right. When you mistreat the customer, it will come back to you no matter when.

Maybe if you are local this is a good firm but there was absolutely no communication. I had to call to find out the status of the case every time. I ended up getting fined for cost of court. When I called again was told the email you had bounced back but there was no attempt to call me. I gave them another email address and again nothing. No communication. I ended up calling the court myself and handling. So If you are not local then this is not the firm to use.
