Services
We're proud of our well drilling equipment because it's known for its reliablility and effectiveness. We've acquired trucks and drills that get us into places that other trucks can't get into and can handle a wide variety of jobs from the residential to the large scale commercial. Here's a gallery of Comac's fleet of drills at work for our valued customers.
Well drilling for artesian water wells is most of the drilling work we do in NH, MA, and ME. Artesian water is found abundantly in the aquifer thanks to New England's unique geology. In our thirty years of experience we've learned that each water well has its own unique challenges.
Placing a water well is more than just identifying where the water is located, it's also about state regulations, the locations of other active or inactive wells, the potential for contamination from sources located close to the aquifer, and more. That's why we're more than just a well drilling company with state of the art drilling equipment, we have years of experience and technical know-how in recommending the best location for your water well.

Artesian water well drilling makes up the bulk of our business. We have helped hundreds of satisfied customers living in New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts with their artesian water well drilling and siting. The geology of our area is ideal for drilling through the bedrock and tapping the pressurized artesian aquifers that are nestled between the rocks.
A dug well used to be the norm for properties in New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts. This was before high tech drilling equipment (like ours) became more common and reasonably priced. Nowadays dug wells are considered relics, but in some rare cases a dug well might be better choice.
The problem with dug wells is that they are shallower and are more vulnerable to surface contamination, but if they are done right, are in a safe location, and are properly outfitted, then they can produce a decent amount of water. There's a reason why dug wells are not very popular anymore, so let us come out and give you an estimate on our other well drilling services.

If a water well replacement is the only way to solve your water issue then we can help you out. Water wells generally last quite awhile, up to forty years in some cases, but they aren't meant to be and can't be permanent fixtures. There are many reasons for a water well to lose its functionality: structural damage, changes in the water table or aquifer, contamination, property or water rights issues.

Had a great experience with Comac. Very friendly and helpful on the phone with Marissa, and Scott went out of his way to come to my house, diagnose my problem and got me up and running. He explained all my options helped me through a very stressful situation in a way that was easy to understand. I highly recommend!

I called this morning because we were experiencing very low water pressure. They were able to fit us in this afternoon. Bill called on his way to my house and was very friendly upon arrival. He and the assistant got right to work, quickly identified the problem, fixed it, and then taught me what to do so I could do it myself in the future. I was very impressed by this company and would not hesitate to use them again!

Awesome company with hard workers!! Had them out to drill a well and install a pump system at my home and it couldn't have been a better experience! The staff was very knowledgeable and eased any worries I may have had going into it. Start to finish, a very pleasant experience and I would HIGHLY recommend Comac to anyone!!

Drilled in one day, came back two days later in a snow storm to finish the job of installation. estimate for well depth was fairly accurate, not too much above estimate. Guys were super nice, easy to work with. Cleaned up the site nicely, too! Everyone there was easy to work with, and the office does a very good job of keeping in touch. Very pleased!

During the drought of 2016 I had Comac drill a well for my family. I had a base price of around 7k, for my location, but the salesman clearly told me that differing depths, extra casing, etc may apply as they have no control over what is in the ground for water or casing needed. Also that state rules require certain procedures on house lots that the well location is affected by lot lines and a few other things. I understood that these are items that add to the cost. From my very first phone call with them the woman in the office said that the majority wells fall between 9k-11k as a final price

This company will rip you off if you call with a problem on a Saturday. We lost water on a Friday night and we called on Saturday morning to have them take a look at the system and let us know what was wrong. They charged us a $250 fee for a Saturday dispatch, which would have been fine, except that fee doesn't actually give you anything. We still had to pay for labor as well as a diagnostic fee. They were at our house for 1/2 hour, used no parts and said everything with the well system was fine and charged us $471.50. I understand it companies need to make money but I own a company with a service
